I was able to see the beautiful flowers blooming in the garden throughout the year, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxing.I have fond memories of being alone in the hotel's garden when the hotel's cat called out to me and we went into the hotel and sat by the fireplace together.

The owner and staff welcomed us kindly. There are so many wonderful pieces that make you think that they put a lot of thought into the furnishings.⁡The room I was looking forward to was a small suite with two rooms combined into one large room, and it was spacious.I stayed in a room with a unit bath, and I was able to take a private bath at different times at night, and was able to slowly warm up my body after getting soaked in the rain, which was very satisfying. Some rooms have shared bathrooms, so be careful when booking!⁡In the morning, enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast in the dining room where the morning sun shines in.Each one was delicious.⁡It was a wonderful stay ☺️⁡

Excellent place and unusual experience. The host (Mr. Iwata) is very friendly and hospitable. Well versed in multiple languages, as well as classical music, he made our stay very special and surely memorable. We were even lucky enough to hear him play music.

I thought it was just the outside that was old, but the inside was also quite old and it was hard to say that it was clean. The room was not cleaned properly, food particles were left on the floor, and there were insects such as moths in the room. The baths are shared with other guests and are not separated for men and women, so the hot water is not very clean. Also, the time is specified, and if the customer in front of you is late, you only have 30 minutes of time. I hang my key in the common area when I go out, but since it's almost unattended, I'm worried about security. I read in the reviews that the breakfast was delicious, but it was just average. It would be better to imagine it as a guest house rather than a hotel. Based on the above, I thought that this price setting was too high, perhaps Karuizawa price.

The month of visit is different because the month of visit was not selectable from the options. The interior was nice and the homely atmosphere was nice, but I had one complaint about the food. …

A unique pension located in a quiet villa area in Kyu-Karuizawa. A classical Western-style house filled with flowers, classical music flowing, a fireplace with real wood burning, wonderful paintings, and various birds and squirrels visiting the garden. There is a cat who (probably) understands human language and will talk to you. It's a B/B style inn, so I stayed there for one night and had breakfast, but it's a 5-10 minute walk to Old Light Street, so good restaurants are within walking distance. Although the rooms are a little old, they are clean, and the owner and staff are very hospitable.I think this is a good inn.
