6 Tatami room was quite small. But it was enough for one night stay. Ryokan was tidy and clean. Also they have free parking in front of Ryokan. The only think that bothered me was, there were no curtains/blind on the windows . I didn’t want to wake up at sunrise, 5 am.

I used it for one night. As written on the website, the hotel really had the atmosphere of going to your grandma's house in the countryside. It was built like an inn that looks like something out of ``My Summer Vacation.''The rooms were kept clean and had the minimum necessities, so I had a comfortable stay. It was a hot summer, but I was able to stay comfortably without needing an air conditioner. For dinner, there were many varieties such as pork cutlet, boiled fish, and soup, and I was satisfied because I could eat as much rice as I wanted. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm, so the guests gather to eat together, and it feels like a training camp, which was nice. LOLThe men's bath had a hot spring where you could stretch your legs, and the temperature was just right, not too hot. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinano-Oiwake Station, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby that's open until 11pm. It was pitch black around here at night, so I gave up on going to the convenience store on the way. LOLThe landlady was also kind and I was able to stay with peace of mind.It was the kind of hotel that I suddenly remembered and wanted to go back to. (^^)

While the prices of accommodation in Karuizawa are soaring, we were able to stay here without meals at a reasonable price. It was clean and there was a large public bath.

I used it by car during a summer family trip. This is a guesthouse with a good location for sightseeing in Karuizawa. The inside of the hotel was well kept and beautiful. The food was also delicious.
