Because this B&B can accommodate 8 people in 3 rooms on the website, and I also saw that others have checked in before with more than 5 people, but the website cannot select accommodation for 5 people, only 4, so we wrote to the landlord to inquire. We were told that there were 5 of us. When we made the reservation, we were notified that 5 people would be staying. We also sent the passports of the 5 people to the landlord. The landlord only replied to us and said that he would tell booking.com. We also informed booking. All notifications were informed and confirmed before departure. However, it was not until the night before check-in that the landlord asked for an increase of 20,000 yen per person. We booked this room for 58,000 yen per 4 people, and they asked us to pay 20,000 yen for an extra person. I think it is ridiculous, and the night before check-in We were told that we couldn’t cancel at the last minute because we had already swiped our card before departure from Taiwan, so we just wanted to forget it. We didn’t want to be disqualified travelers and were prepared to pay more, but we clearly informed the landlord and booking agency that we wanted to stay for 5 days. Name, the landlord did inform us that the price would be increased the night before moving in. He just came up to tell everyone to ask for clarification. In addition, this hotel is very beautiful, but his bed is really difficult to sleep on, it is super soft.

The environment is beautiful, clean and comfortable, which satisfies the longing for Karuizawa and is very suitable for self-driving family travel🚗There are 3 rooms, but there are 8 beds in total, with large space and bathroomThere are also 2 rooms that are not crowded. They are fully equipped with tableware and equipment, which is very suitable for preparing breakfast and dinner by yourself. The small balcony outside the house has a hammock which is very cute😆The B&B is farther from the station than expected. The drive takes about 15 minutes. The taxi fare is about 3,500-4,000 yen per trip. The nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away.Also thank you to the service staff for helping us call a taxi when we checked out🫶🏻The bed and pillow were a bit too soft. My neck would be sore after sleeping, so I simply used a bath towel as a pillow 😂However, the housing price is cost-effective and there is a parking space, which is very suitable for travelers traveling by car!
