I went on a day trip to the hot springs, but the hot springs were closed due to the typhoon that hit Chiba in 2019, so I haven't had a bath since then. However, there is a restaurant and the hostess is very welcoming. It feels like being at a relative's house in the countryside and makes me want to go again.

I came on Saturday. There was a sign saying that the hot springs were open, but the hot springs were not open. I was told that it was just a meal. It's a shame

2022.10.1I would like to share with you a story that I heard from the mother of the inn.The pump that pumps up the hot springs was damaged by a large typhoon last year, and it will cost about 10 million yen to restore, so both the hot springs and the inn are currently closed. He has no plans to open a hot spring or an inn in the future.I think the price is high because we do everything from the boiler to the water for the bath for the guests.I was heartbroken to hear several stories of people complaining about the inns and hot springs run by elderly couples.Reviews belowOn my way from the Yoro Valley to the Kamogawa River, there were almost no places to eat lunch nearby, and a few years ago, when I went here once during the autumn foliage season, I ate soba noodles with large, freshly picked wild yams. I remembered that they had made it for me, so I inquired about it, and they only had soba or udon, but I was happy with that, so I went back. It's not the best season right now, so I didn't use wild yam, but I was very satisfied with the delicious yam.My partner's wild vegetable soba noodles were served with as many wild vegetables as ever before, and we were able to enjoy the soba noodles around the hearth.postscriptPlease be sure to give us a call as we don't know if they are open or not. They may be able to accommodate you even outside of the daytime. I think of it as an oasis for lunch refugees in Yoro Valley.Even if you inquire, only 1.2% of the people come, so basically it's like preparations are made after you arrive, so it takes some time, but please enjoy the heartwarming conversation between moms and the soba noodles.I will stop by again when I pass this route.

In August 2020, when I went to the nearby Sengokudai campsite, I used it for a day trip to the bathing area. There were some reviews saying that they had stopped opening for day trips, but I decided to open it this time. However, it seems that the hot spring ingredients have decreased, and it seems to be an open-air bath rather than a hot spring (I asked the landlady about this when I inquired in advance, but I couldn't find out the details.)The business style seems to be quite laid-back and informal, so it is essential to check in advance. There are two bathhouses, and you can rent them out as a group. There is a washing area, but there is no shampoo etc. The shower is also a type where you can adjust the mixer faucet by yourself, but it is extremely difficult to control (lol)The temperature was lukewarm, so it was perfect for summer. The bathing fee was 1000 yen per adult.I can't recommend it to people who don't want a clean and well-equipped bath. Also, if it's not really a hot spring, I thought it might be a little cheaper.
