Although it was Saturday, it was reserved. The manager is not always on duty, so if you call when you arrive, he will come and collect the fee.The main tent field is made of concrete with artificial grass. It's completely flat and soft, and the bottom of the tent doesn't get dirty, but the pegs don't stick, so I tied guy lines to rocks lying nearby. The toilets are flush, clean, and have electricity. It has a nice view of the port.At night, you can hear the waves, the port, and the sounds of insects, and the night lights in the restrooms are bright, so if you're worried about that, it might be a good idea to bring earplugs and an eye mask.

I stayed there because I wanted to camp with the scenery I saw on the website. The stairs leading up to the site are steep, making it difficult to carry large luggage.Although you can carry your luggage with a winch, it would be better to carry as little luggage as possible.I heard that it was being renovated since it opened last year, but the toilets have faucets and there is a water source nearby, so at night, the outside lights of the port and the sound of the wind and waves make you feel comfortable as a hideaway or an exploration. In addition, the site does not allow the use of pegs on the entire surface, so a self-supporting tent is required, so I think it would be perfect if you are traveling by bicycle or motorbike.

The location is excellent as it was originally a hotel-related site. The water area and toilets are also clean and easy to use. The biggest advantage is that the Minami Izu Fisheries Cooperative's direct sales store is right in front of our door, so we can eat fresh seafood, butterbur sprouts purchased at the roadside station, and other seasonal delicacies. The only drawback is that it is located on a hill, so it might be a little difficult to carry large luggage. *There is a cargo escalator for transporting luggage.
