A true traditional Japanese inn experience with futon beds, tamami floors, and onsen. We loved the private bath. Both breakfast and dinner were huge and delicious. They offer noodles at 10pm in the reception area, yakult near the baths and free beer in the room’s mini fridge.

Stayed one night with my brother in law and his Japanese friend. This was a new experience for a guy from Wyoming. Having a “local” certainty helped but enough of the staff spoke English that I’d come back on my own. …

Great food!! If you love seafood this is the place for you. The seaweed cold noodles served during dinner was really good as well.We stayed in a room called Hoshi. The view out of the window was so green in July. The beds were comfy and I slept well. The private bath had a window looking out into trees and bamboos but no breeze. They have a ramen service from 10pm but we were to sleepy by that time we couldn’t try the ramen. The hotel is located near Minami Ito station but the hotel provides free shuttle busses to and from Ito station. The area around the hotel is residential. We went to Maboroshi Hakurankai, about twenty minutes away by taxi.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The place was clean, relaxing and just a very nice place to be away from the city to relax and rest. The onsen was also very comfortable, with adjustable temperature. Would definitely come back to visit again.

The location is good. There is parking lot near the hotel, and if you come by train hotel staff pick you up at Ito station. The service was perfect.

I stayed at a traditional Japanese inn during the summer, around Obon. As I approached, I was captivated by the beautiful entrance. My room (evey room) had a private open-air bath fed by a natural hot spring. Soaking in the tub alone, I felt a deep sense of peace. The entire experience was incredibly rejuvenating and truly Japanese. The combination of warming up in the bath, relaxing in a tatami room, and returning to the outdoor bath is a unique pleasure that I believe many foreigners would appreciate. While there was a communal bath, the privacy of my room was especially inviting. The meals were a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Each dish was a delicate work of art, showcasing the finest ingredients. The inn itself exuded a calming atmosphere, thanks to the impeccable Japanese hospitality. One of the highlights was the communal area outside the bath, where guests could enjoy complimentary drinks. The sound of wind chimes and the sight of chilled ramune brought back nostalgic memories of summer in Japan.Over my two-night stay, the same friendly staff member looked after me. His attentive service made me feel right at home. Even if the staff doesn't speak fluent English, their genuine hospitality would make any guest feel welcome. From the tea ceremony to the midnight ramen and the thoughtful amenities in my room, the inn provided a level of comfort and care that surpassed anything I've experienced at a hotel.----I visited during the Obon period. As you go up the slope, you will see a nice gate. There is an open-air bath with free-flowing water, and when you take a relaxing bath by yourself, you will say to yourself, ``This hot water is nice.''It's moderately warm, you can relax in the tatami room, and then soak in the open-air bath in your room. The large public bath is nice, but I also feel like it's a luxury to spend time like this. The morning and evening meals were also wonderful and delicious. The entire ryokan offers Japanese hospitality that will make you feel calm.Drinks are chilled outside the public bath, and you can enjoy them freely. The sound of wind chimes, ramune chilling in a barrel, and sitting on a chair makes you feel like you're on the veranda. A nostalgic summer night. It brings back memories of when I was a child, innocently enjoying fairs. . . It gives me such a nostalgic feeling.Thank you for staying with me for 2 nights and 3 days. The same person was in charge of serving and serving the meals for three days. I was able to forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life thanks to the pleasant hospitality of a wonderful man with a smile.I was able to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay with hospitality that was different from that of a hotel, with many things that made me happy, such as the matcha tea, night noodles, coffee machine service, and refrigerator service in the room.

I stayed there a few years ago, but since it was in the main building, the rooms were old and the semi-open-air bath had black mold, so I didn't think it was a high-end inn. The food is also average.Beef stew has a strong taste and is salty. The thing I couldn't forgive the most was when an older woman, who appeared to be the landlady, asked me to speak politely and looked at me from above, even though I was speaking in honorific language. Even though I was paying a high price, I felt like I was being made a fool of and I felt very bad.Are you looking at people and talking?I will never go there again.

I used it before the coronavirus. The food was excellent. The shared open-air bath was also nice. The inside of the building was very well maintained and clean.I chose the highest villa premium room with a view of the waterfall, and the room had a nice atmosphere, and the open-air bath on the large deck outside was a good size and had free-flowing water. Even if you get a room with a private open-air bath, you might not use it much when you actually go there, but I liked this one and went there several times. However, in this room, I was quite bothered by the sound of the waterfall that could be heard in the quiet of the night when I fell asleep. However, my companion didn't pay any attention to it and was sleeping normally, so maybe I'm just being nervous.
