Although the access is not good, the food, baths, and customer service were excellent. Foreign girls were also doing their best. The cleaning was thorough and I was able to spend a comfortable time. Especially the food is great, I want to go again.

GOOD points - the taste and quality was good, overall. Unfortunately, nothing special that makes you remember any specific part of it. Dinner is more than just the food. The ryokan experience is also part of it. I’ll explain this more below.SHOULD be improve point -1) The common dining area has flies (and other flying insects). This is big NO for me. Beside the obvious “unhygienic”reason, it’s also hard to focus on eating when you’re busy swinging your arms to ensure the flies didn’t land on your food.2) Language skills aside, the foreign staff definitely needs some more training. You can improve language skills easily but service-wise, they need to be trained. Otherwise I don’t see how the service will be improved over time.In conclusion, I do get it that I shouldn’t complained based on how much I paid for this. But.. this is a bit too much. I’ve been to other places with similar price ranges but doing way better than this place. I wish you the best and please do your best to improve.

It's a shame that the staff and the foreign women aren't as responsive as they should be, and the rooms and food are decent. No need for foreign staff. We have to respond from the perspective of proper Japanese customers. This price setting is too high for this content. If this continues, the pricing should be lowered.

I was impressed by how elaborate the food was and how delicious it was. The hospitality of the staff was polite, but I felt sad that the foreign staff were not confident in their Japanese, so they gave one-sided explanations based on the manual and couldn't even make eye contact with me. It would be even better if you could improve your skills. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The quality of the hot spring water in the bath was good and the indoor bath had plenty of hot water to keep you warm, but the outdoor bath didn't have enough hot water and it was extremely cold even in March. I would like to see improvement in that area. There is an outside hallway between the guest room and the bathroom/guest room, so it's cold in the winter, but once you're inside, it's warm, so I didn't think you need to worry about that as it's a Japanese-style inn.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath.I have always loved the hot springs in Shimogamo. The bath in the room was also a very nice hot spring.Depending on the plan, there may be discounts, etc., but the accommodation is originally around 30,000 yen per person. The food and customer service were at the worst level.I can live with an inn that costs about 10,000 yen, but it's not worth it.We will provide training. Or rather, there are only trainees?Or a part-time job that seems unmotivated?Lettuce is rottingThere is no explanation as to when is the best time to eat abalone. There's no end to itIt's a cheap hotel that pretends to be a luxury inn.I will never visit again.
