City dwellers be warned: this is not your 5 star luxury hotel. However, if you are all about good locally grown produce and wild caught seafood, and are not scared of bugs and cats roaming around, this place is amazing! …

First of all, I fell in love with the personality of the owner couple. As everyone has said, you can use the open-air bath assigned to each room as much as you want 24 hours a day, and it's hard to eat all the meals, which mainly consist of seafood. This is a very satisfying stay.

This is my second stay here after about 6 years. I'm still surprised at the amount of food. And all the dishes are delicious! Also, the open-air bath, which is open 24 hours a day, is available for rent, so you can use it whenever you like, making it irresistible for bath lovers!

Anyway, the dinner was so filling that I couldn't finish it all. Not only the sashimi, but also the Kinme simmered fish was of good quality and taste. …

It was our first trip together as a family for my brother Nyanko's 3rd birthday.I traveled by rental car from Shinjuku to Izukyu Shimoda in a private room on Super View Odoriko No. 3.Since it was my first time there, I had to carry all the stuff from above to the toilet, so I had a ridiculous amount of luggage, but I was glad that Nyankozu was able to relax after exploring around the area. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful, but they were so delicious that other family members ate what I couldn't eat, and we almost finished the meal!I finished the salt kettle grilled golden sea bream with the bones intact. Both the spiny lobster sashimi and poire were exquisite. We also enjoyed whole tomato soup and grilled zucchini with cheese.I had told them that it was our wedding anniversary and Nyankozu's birthday, but I was very happy to see Churu's thoughtful Happy Birthday gift as a souvenir on the way home. Also, they provided a frozen plastic bottle in the freezer to use as an ice pack, which was a nice touch.I'm sure I'll repeat it.

We stayed here for 2 consecutive nights for 3 years in a row, and this time my mother and I all stayed together. It was my first time visiting in December, but I was able to enjoy the autumn leaves and orange picking, and I was able to relax in the private hot spring and room with floor heating.Dinner is always ready for the challenge! It's not just that the portions are large, but the dozen or so items served are carefully made and all are exquisite. Even my mother, who grew up in the mountains and doesn't like raw food, was impressed by how delicious the fresh filefish sashimi with liver was. This time, I had the leftover sashimi pickled, and was able to enjoy the taste of Kawazu even after returning home.Comfortable guest rooms that are thoroughly cleaned, open-air hot spring baths that you can feel free to use at any time, mouth-wateringly delicious food, Kosab and his cheerful friends, and above all, the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife...This is a one-of-a-kind inn that will heal your heart! !

If you go upstream for about 1.5km along the Kawazu River from National Route 135, which runs on the east side of the Izu Peninsula, you will find ``Kawazu no Sato'' facing the Kawazu River. …
