Wood is used abundantly and it is soothing.There are so many kinds of breakfast that you can't finish it all.Events are also held at the facility, although they are irregular.

The hotel and rooms were clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, so I would like to stay there again when I stay in Nakatsugawa.

If you love yourself, don't go to this place.Avoid this place at all cost.Rooms:- No USB ports to charge my devices. Had to go to 7-eleven to buy adapters- Water sink labelled the hot/cold temperature incorrectly - nearly burned my hands- Shower water temperature wasnt consistent and kept fluctuating- No toothbrushes prepared IN the room like other hotels. Had to go down to get it.- No trash cans in the bathroom- No sanitary bags- 2nd floor was the smoking area so it reeked of cigarette smell on the 2nd floor- Air conditioner was dusty musty and above the bed, had me coughing a lot and dry throat- There was a questionable stain(???) on the couchService:- The staff (middle aged lady) dropped our newly purchased expensive camera.- No shoes allowed at the lobby of the hotel and it wasnt even fully enforced as i saw some guests stepping on it with shoes... gross- Noone really came to "welcome" us, people were just chillin behind the reception deskLocation(fine):- Decent distance from the train station- Narrow roads werent the most luggage friendly- Very hilly

It was convenient as it was close to the station and Nakatsugawa-juku, and there were several restaurants nearby. The room and public bath were clean, and the staff were cheerful.I take off my shoes, but I don't have slippers and I feel a little reluctant to walk barefoot (or socks). Wi-Fi is weak and often cuts out

I thought the Japanese yen was already very cheap, so I booked a single room for October this year (reservation No.: A0025112745) on the official website on December 1st last year. I needed to cancel in the middle of last month (August), only to find out the email The cancellation link in cannot be used. Please seek service from the official website customer service and agree to manual cancellation. At the end of August, I checked that the bill had not been refunded, and asked the official website customer service again. Unexpectedly, the response was quite negative. Some said it was an operational problem with the credit card bank, and the other said that I would not receive the refund until September or October. Today's September Still no refund on the bill. My thoughts on booking this time are: (1) Even if you book a room through the official website, small hotels may still encounter problems. (2) Even if the hotel has good reviews, it will be ruined under special circumstances, leaving you with no way to ask for help.

The guest room was very nice with a Japanese style design.The bed was movable, so it was perfect for letting preschoolers sleep together.The floor in the public bath was slippery, so I had a hard time taking a bath with my child. And it smells a little musty.It was very helpful for me because I checked in during Yonaki Chazuke, but I would be happy if you could check in a little later (from 9:30pm to 10pm).The room was small and the TV was a smart TV, so the kids were glued to it.

A new hotel recently opened. A popular hotel with many foreign guests. The room has a shower room. People who want to soak in the bathtub are supposed to go to the large communal bath.

This is a hotel that required you to take off your shoes once entering the premises. We have done that before in Onyado Nono Matsumoto. In order to do this properly, the hotel indeed needs to keep a high standard of hygiene. Once entering the hotel the staff helped to take your luggages and cleaned the wheels thoroughly to make sure that they did not have dirts. Also, it felt good to walk on bare foot over tatami mats and it could minimize any possible odors with its great ventilation feature. We did have a great time in Onyado Nono.Yet, it was not the same experience with Onyado Onn Nakatsugawa. First of all, when we entered the hotel we saw 3 receptionists standing behind the counter with no intention coming out to help us despite we were standing there, studying their English notes posted on wall as to how to handle our luggages and shoes. This hotel requires their guests to clean their own luggage’s wheels by rolling them over a disinfectant mat…..And here comes the problem. We saw some guests who just lightly pulled their luggages over the mat and dirts were still clearly seen on the wheels. So, what is the solution by the hotel to resolve this? They used carpet in black and the lighting of the corridors were dim so that you could not spot any obvious dirts on the ground. Also, on a 35c sunny day their air conditioning was so weak that when you walked thru the corridor to your room you could smell odor and such temperature was a perfect seedbed for germs.Other than that, the room itself looks good and we stayed in one with balcony so it was good to sit outside to enjoy some evening breeze.If you choose to stay in this hotel I suggest you better wear a pair of socks instead of walking on bare foot.

The rooms are very new, but smaller than a decimal. The onsen is great. However, the staff is not helpful and barely speak English. When asked about a nearby massage or acupuncture parlor, they laughed at us and said that there's none nearby.They offer complimentary rice in the evenings (not my cup of tea though).

Tiny room.If you stay two days, you have to take out the trash and your towels to get new ones at the door because the room is not cleaned.Basic hotel, pleasant staff.

We are very grateful to the hotel, after being rejected a Nakasendo vacancy because of the unacceptable quality, we checked into the hotel around 9 pm, where we immediately got a well-equipped room at a really good price. We dropped off our dirty clothes at the reception,and on the next morning we got them back washed/dried . The breakfast is Japanese style, you have to count on that. We were very happy with this hotel.

The location is good and the onsen too but for the average Japanese price, this hotel is expensive. The service is correct but inflexible. Check out was at 11 and when we got off at 11.04 they made us look bad. The room is small

The room was nice and cleanI liked that the wash basin was independent.I didn't like that because I had to take off my shoes and go up.The bath in the large public bath was dangerous because there was a lot of oil floating in it and the floor was slippery and slippery.The shower room in the room was quite large, so I didn't have to go to the public bath.

A very nice hotel with onsen and good breakfast. Very nice staff. clean anyway. Unfortunately we couldn't check in earlier but we left our suitcases here and so we immediately explored the pretty old town that is nearby.
