We stayed for several nights with 3 adults and 2 children. The room was room 701, a connect Japanese-Western style room (8 tatami Japanese style room + twin bed room). It was large enough to accommodate 5 people. There is a large hot spring bath, so I did not use the indoor bath in the room. It seemed like a hotel aimed at families with children under elementary school age. It was a children's paradise, with a hot spring pool (open all year round), a jungle hot spring facility (swimming suits required), and a kids' room. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style. There was a wide variety of menu items, and I was able to fully enjoy my meal. There are two large hot spring baths, and the men and women alternate in the afternoon and morning. Those who took a bath in the morning enjoyed the various bathtubs and barrel baths. Since I stayed for several nights, I was able to fully enjoy the children's paradise.

I didn't stay there and only looked at it from the outside, but there was an inn called Fukuharaya in the old TV drama, Hosamumu Shoshiki, which was set in Atagawa Onsen, and I believe that Fukuharaya was the predecessor of this hotel. Sorry if I'm wrong.

I felt this was a hotel that I could enjoy staying with with my pre-elementary school children.[General facilities]Overall, I wish it was a little more clean, but it was helpful to have facilities such as a spacious kids' room and heated pool for small children to play to their fullest. There was a free drink bar (welcome drink) available, and there was a Thomas train that children could ride on their own electric motors, so the small children seemed to be having a lot of fun.【room】It was a Japanese-style room. It's spacious enough. The bath and washroom felt quite old, but since I mainly used the large bath, it didn't bother me too much. The sheets of the futon were pulled directly onto the mattress, and the sheets of the comforter came off easily, making it a bit difficult to use, but I was still able to sleep in a quiet place, which relieved my fatigue.【meal】The buffet for breakfast and dinner has a sufficient number of items, and there are a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese side dishes, and if you think that you came to the buffet with children, you can fully enjoy the taste of each item. It seems like they have a menu that kids can eat.【bath】The baths seem to change places between men and women every day. Both saunas are fully equipped, and one is a regular sauna with sufficient temperature. The other one was a barrel sauna with a slightly insufficient temperature. Both water baths are lukewarm. There was no ladle for pouring hot water, which I thought was a bit unfriendly.

My family of 4 (ages 4 and 2) used it on weekdays. After checking in, we headed straight to the pool. Since it was a weekday, it was spacious and I was able to relax and swim. There was also a slide so the kids didn't seem to get bored. I went to the spa pool on another floor, but it was a bit small and seemed to get chaotic on weekends. Each pool area is not directly connected, so moving around is a hassle. There is a toilet near the changing room, so I didn't like the smell of urine. The hallway is a bit dark and the toilet smells, so it doesn't feel very clean. The room is average. You can watch YouTube on the TV, so the kids won't get bored. The rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on the balcony, so it might be good for smokers (there is also an ashtray). However, the partition wall between the neighbor and the neighbor is low and we can see each other. The only futons are thick mattresses. I was glad that it wasn't the common rice cracker futon. Also, since it's self-service, you can sleep whenever you want.I used the unit bath in my room to give my younger child a bath, but it was frustrating because the drain was clogged and the water didn't drain easily. I wrote in the questionnaire that it needs improvement. The food was delicious. The red meat of the tuna didn't have a strong iron smell, and the other foods didn't taste bad either. Well, some people may feel that there are not many types. The fact that they have ice cream is highly rated. There are two open-air baths, and the men's and women's baths are rotated, and the men's bath area when I went in at night was a mess, and there was only one open-air bath, which was small. The next morning, the open-air area that was for women last night has now been changed to men's, so you should go in the morning. This one is spacious with several open-air baths, and the sauna is also installed outdoors. I feel a huge disparity lolAs mentioned above, I think 14,800 yen per night on weekdays for a normal 10 tatami Japanese-style room with a pool is cheap enough. If you are wondering if this is a hotel I would recommend to a friend, the answer is yes.

It was very good. I was looking for a hotel with a pool and the Jungle Spa looked unusual and interesting, so I chose this one.Although the building is old, I felt it was kept clean. The staff were also kind.It doesn't feel like a luxury hotel, but it has a pool and plenty of facilities for children to play, so I think the price is reasonable considering that. There is a hot spring space next to the pool, so you can soak in the hot spring while watching over your children.I went sightseeing along with Atami. There aren't many lively sightseeing spots in Atagawa, but I was able to spend a relaxing time there. The sightseeing train where you can enjoy the sea and mountain scenery was also great. One hour passed by quickly. The meal was a buffet, so I didn't think it would be a big deal, but my expectations were exceeded in a good way. I received a lot of delicious sashimi. There were also omelet rice dishes that children would enjoy. The tea provided in the room was also very delicious. I was able to spend a very luxurious time.
