It's been 4 years since then, and it's a strange place that it hasn't collapsed.

The rooms and building are vintage. It can't be helped that time passes. But the hot springs, scenery, and customer service are 👍Why not stay in a room facing the ocean and be soothed by the scenery and the sound of the waves.

I stayed here for the first time in 6 years, and the cost performance was good. There are various plans available, so you can choose according to your budget. The building is old, so it is not suitable for people who want a modern hotel. This time, I chose a course with salmon carpaccio on the menu, but it had been changed. There was no seafood in the seafood chawanmushi either. There was no explanation about the change in dishes. It was a shame because I was looking forward to the carpaccio. Breakfast was also changed from egg chazuke to whitebait. The Nakai in charge of the room was very nice. You can see the morning sun rising over the sea from the sea-side rooms, and you can use the two private baths as many times as you like for free.

It was a very cheap stay for 2 adults at 18,000 yen (breakfast and dinner included). It's an old building overall, but the room had a sea view and you could go right to the beach in front of the hotel, the room was spacious, and the food was delicious. The baths were free, and there were private baths and large public baths, and the jungle-like bath was very impressive. The staff came out right away when I arrived in front of the hotel by car and was very accommodating. The service was very good for the price and I would use them again.

The entire building was very old and had a musty smell. Perhaps because there was a lot of dust on the futon in the room, both my companion and I got itchy and even developed red rashes. There was a stream running next to the room, but it was so noisy today, probably because of the rain, that I couldn't sleep at all. When I closed the curtains to block out the noise, I was surprised to see a spider come out from inside. There were also spider webs behind the door. I have stayed at many hotels, but this is the first time I have had an experience like this. The toilet and bathroom were also quite old, and honestly I didn't feel like using them that much. The hot spring on the top floor was also completely different from the photo. The door to the room had an old round doorknob, which made me feel very uneasy. We do not particularly recommend staying with two women.I still regret why I stayed in this place. The sound of the river was so loud that I couldn't sleep, I had allergies from the dust, and there were spider webs and insects, so it was like sleeping in the open air. I will never come again.

This is an old hotel, not a modern hotel. But you can still feel the Showa era. Nostalgia! So I think it's suitable for people who are looking for that. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious seafood!I plan to go again!

For this review, I thought it would be okay to give it 4 stars because I stayed at a super cheap price from a certain membership site, but if this was the regular price... I think I probably wouldn't have given it at all, so here's the result (^_^;)I didn't know about the food because I stayed without meals. It may be retro at best, but this is retro...or rather, it's just shabby. To be honest, it felt eerie, like a haunted house, partly because the weather wasn't so good.I wanted to use a trolley, but was told that there was no elevator and stairs from the front desk to the second floor. The staff tried their best to carry it, but it landed on the floor in front of the elevator on the second floor! And leave it alone. .Are you attentive or not? .If so, it would be a good idea to prepare a trolley on the second floor.I was looking forward to it because I heard that the baths could be reserved for private use, but no, that was terrible, it was horror. It's just that there's a bathtub on the top floor, but it's a mess. The jungle area of the large communal bath is okay as long as you don't look at the details, but the ceiling looks like it would blow off if a typhoon came.I wonder if something went wrong with that tin roof (lol)The tatami in the room has been replaced and is safe, but the toilet is too small, the sink is tilted, and the bath looks like someone's house in the countryside. And the curtains are so flimsy that it's already bright at 5 o'clock and I can't sleep! There's a footbath right in front of it, so I don't think the location is bad, but it's a waste of time because it's so worn out!Are they not making enough money to even do renovation work? It looks like it's about to collapse at any moment.I can only laugh at the fact that I was able to stay at such a cheap price, but seriously, I wish they had blackout curtains! It's far from barrier-free, so it's not friendly to the elderly or people with small children, or rather, it won't be relaxing.

The rooms were clean. The view is also great. However, since the building itself was quite old, I was worried about its earthquake resistance. There was no air conditioning in the hallways or lobby, so there were fans and spot coolers. It was midsummer so it was really hot!The temperature of the private open-air bath with a view was too hot. It felt old and filthy, which I didn't like. The floor of the changing room in the rock bath in the large public bath was kind of sticky. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Foreigners came to lay out the futons and prepare the food.Since the beach is right in front of the hotel, it would have been nice if they had been more considerate of guests who came back after swimming.

The sea view from the room is very nice. The facility is an old Showa-era hotel and inn. There are other beautiful hotels, but this one is so comfortable that I keep coming back. This is a hotel that I would like to stay at forever.
