The breakfast was simply delicious!Accomodation super good and clean. Furnishings modern and very well maintained.Location perfect: close to the beach and many restaurants nearby! Still very, very quiet! An incredible difference from the cities of Japan. The rooms are sufficiently large and significantly larger than the average in Japan! The garden is well maintained and you can sit on the terrace right in the green!Host: very, very nice and incredibly helpful! Both spoke English very well, so there were no problems with communication. They were very flexible and were always able to help us. (e.g. transfer to the next bus stop)Incredibly great relaxation factor! Everything was very familiar and just perfect for me.

We spent 5 days at Akachichi Guesthouse. The guesthouse is about 50 minutes by car from Naha Airport to the north. The location is excellent and offers a lot of relaxation and nature. There are several beaches, restaurants and other activity options nearby. Kenny and Komaki are two wonderful hosts who give you good tips and are always helpful. The breakfast is world-class and made from local ingredients. We recommend a rental car to explore the island. The rooms are large, comfortable and modest by Japanese standards. That's how it should be! Nothing is missing in this accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay and wish Kenny and his family all the best!

Large, beautifully furnished room with access to a private terrace where breakfast is served in good weather. Very nice hosts with whom you can communicate in fluent English (not a given in Japan).Highly recommended for a few days with beautiful beaches very close (10 - 15 minutes walk).Popular diving and snorkeling area.

You don't have to think twice about this accommodation. You won't find anything better in Okinawa. The two hosts were very friendly and interested. The rooms were cleaned every day. The surroundings are also very beautiful. The highlight is the breakfast every morning. The portions are just right, the food is traditional and regional, and very tasty! We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave at the end. However, a rental car is a must on Okinawa.

We had the best time at Akachichi Guesthouse - it’s a home away from home. Kenny and Komaki are such great, welcoming hosts who made the stay special. Without their recommendations the stay would have been totally different. The apartment is cosy, the breakfast was the best we had and the surroundings are beautiful.I can highly recommend the place!Thank you for everything!Carolin & Luis
