We have been in many Mitsui Garden hotels around the world and this one is disappointing to say the least. The price is almost 300USD for a standard twin room and:- you have to do the checkin by yourself and it takes long… more after a long trip.- The staff is undertrained. We left the key in the reception and they kept us waiting for over 15min because they couldn’t find it.- The only window in the room has a sticker and you cannot see anything through it.- They only cleanup the room every two days.- During lunch or dinner time you can easily smell barbecue from your bedroom.- And you will hear your neighbors opening and closing the doors. When we told them about the window, they said “Oh yes, it is because it is close to a building and you cannot see anything anyway” and we told them, well at least you could put that in the description of the room and we might have booked something else. They responded that they can change us to another room that is different or that we would have to pay the difference for a better room…Finally, it looks like every decision they make, it is for “sustainability reasons”. This is probably the biggest lie ever because:- They give you a plastic bag for the clothes you need to bring to the onsen instead a textile or fabric bag that can be reused.- They give you water can bottles instead of glass water bottles that can be reused.- For the coffee, they give you one use cups instead of ceramic or glass cups that can be reused.- They have capsules coffee machines that generate a lot of trash.- And many many more things that are definitely not “sustainable”.Finally, if you want to use the “gym”, consider that the maximum dumbbell weight is 10Kg.It is embarrassing that this hotel belongs to the Mitsui Garden hotel chain. For this price, I highly recommend you look for something else.

I’ve stayed in so many Mitsui Garden hotels (even in different countries) and this one is by far the worst. I wasn’t gonna write a review as I think it’s new and takes time to adjust as a brand new hotel but just felt quite unfair and cheated for how much we are paying to stay here.1. Self check in: when we arrived, there are a bunch of staff, but you still have to use the self check in machines, and because guests are not used to checking in on their own, the line to check in was long, and the wait was horrible. Then you see the staff just standing around to assist people using the check in machines. Whereas it could have been done so much faster if the staff could just check the guests in at the counter.2. We booked our room through booking.com. On the website, it didn’t state that the twin room would be close to another hotel, so the window would be sealed with no view (as shown in photos below) this felt cheated, as we really enjoyed a good city view, thus booked a room with windows. Then we asked the staff about this issue, the answer was only that all standard twin rooms are facing the same side of the building, unless we pay more to upgrade our room, or change to a double bed room, there’s nothing they can do. We are paying about €300 a night, for a room with no views. I think it’s quite ridiculous considering we didn’t know any thing beforehand.3. We left our room key with the front desk to go out for a run. Then when we came back 40 minutes later, they forgot where they left our keys and took them almost 15 minutes to find it. They could have just make a key on the spot within seconds.4. Like other review stated, the public bath is accommodated to foreigners, which is not a big deal, but I’ve never seen any hotel with onsen with a ton of standing showers and only one traditional Japanese shower. The onsen tiles are more like swimming pool tiles comparing to other mitsui garden hotels.5. A lot of things are self served. We ask for detergent, you’ll have to go pick it up on your own at the front desk. Ironing board & iron - pick it up on your own in front of the elevator.6. They do not make your bed every day for “sustainable reasons”. I think making the room and changing the bedsheet is quite different. I’ve also never encountered this with other hotels.Definitely need a lot of training with the staff and don’t lie on websites related to certain room types. There are a lot of mitsui garden hotels along the same road and closer to the Ginza Station, I’ll recommend to opt for those if you’re thinking of booking this one.

Great place to stay in Tokyo and was close to the different transit lines to explore. What really stood out for me for the hotel was the great customer service! Big shout out to Courtney who was so helpful and made my first time visit to Japan so welcoming! Was nice to have a bit of southern hospitality and talk with her about different things in the area. Really appreciated all her help as she went above and beyond! Thanks so much!

A new hotel located very close to Ginza shopping street and about 2kms from Tokyo station. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a cozy cafe for some fresh drinks and appetizers at the entrance which was great for picking up good coffee in the morning. Rooms are decent size, brand new with well planned layout.

The price range is the same as Ginza Premium.Check-in was smooth. You can't expect a view from the room.I think it would be better to let them know when making a reservation that the building next door is under construction. If I had known in advance I would not have stayed. I think it would be helpful to have a laundry machine in the room. I don't like to use the public bath, so it would have been nice to have a bathtub.Although it faces the main street, I think the sound insulation is good. The biggest minus point was the hair dryer, which was very annoying because I couldn't adjust the strength.I would like to use it again in the future when I cannot get a reservation for Garden Premier.

We had lunch at the restaurant on the 14th floor, and the food was of the highest quality and the prices were incredibly low. The half-buffet rice, miso soup, soup, and salad were so delicious that they were good enough on their own.

The good:- super friendly and helpful staff, speaking both English and Japanese.- great location, close to Tsukiji Market and a popular temple, all within walking distance. The not-so-good:- the public bath didn’t provide towels and felt more catered to foreign tourists with only one traditional Japanese shower.- breakfast/lunch buffet was very basic and not worth 3300 yen at all, with refills coming in late.- saw a staff member wearing shoes while taking out the trash in changing room of public bath, where the floor is wet, which was surprising for Japan.overall i would recommend for the friendly service and location, but a few improvements could be made!

Since it had just opened, the facilities, including the guest rooms and large public bath, were very clean. What I was most dissatisfied with was the response to foreign tourists using smartphones in the public bath. I was worried, so I called the front desk from the changing room, and was told that someone in charge would be there to warn me shortly, but no one came after 10 minutes, so I got impatient and went to the front desk, but the male staff must have been on his way. That's what he said. I was waiting in the changing room until a while ago, and I didn't see him even in the elevator on the way to the front desk...It may just be that the male staff member was busy, but it is extremely uncomfortable for other people to use smartphones in the public bath, so as a customer, I would have liked to be treated as a priority. Due to its location, it is likely to be used by many foreign tourists, so I would like to request improvements such as warnings at check-in and patrols.Since the facilities are clean and the location is convenient, I gave a strict evaluation regarding the staff's response, including my expectations for the future.

Fitness: What I expected is devoting a room for fitness that has a scenery. But the fitness room does not even have a window.
