This guest house is located about 5 minutes walk from the Hateruma Island Ferry Terminal.It took less than 10 minutes to walk to Nishihama, so I recommend it if you're looking for easy access and low prices.The room has tatami mats and a fan, and the air conditioner costs 100 yen per hour, so be sure to have plenty of 100 yen coins on hand during the hot months.The toilet is Japanese style, with shower only.There are bicycles and motorbikes available for rent, and you can go to the monuments and villages at the southernmost tip of the island.

I didn't stay overnight, but I applied for a stargazing tour. 3,000 yen is cheap with transportation included and lots of photos taken!I went on a starry sky tour on Ishigaki Island and Miyako Island, but it was by far the cheapest.I recommend it!

A few minutes walk up the hill from Hateruma Terminal. Once the ship arrives, everyone rushes to get there, so those with reservations will be given priority. Even if you think it's still early, it's island time so let's take it easy.

We used it as a base camp for Hateruma Island sightseeing.3000 yen per person per nightYou can immediately drop off your luggage and get started, and even when you leave the island, you can enjoy sightseeing until the very last minute because the terminal is within walking distance.There were a few bugs here and there, but I was able to spend a comfortable time with the air conditioner, which costs 100 yen per hour.We recommend renting an electric bicycle (2,500 yen for 8 hours) here and riding around the island.

I used it on a solo trip. You can stay overnight without meals at a low price.So if you can stay overnight there is no problem.Not suitable for people looking for other elementsI'm so tired that I can't even use rice crackers or a futon.Air conditioner because you can sleep and the fan is free.It’s OK even if you don’t add it 🙆♂️Eating and drinking is only allowed in shared rooms.You can make friends with other travelers.The sometimes inconvenient environment is the best part of traveling to remote islands.

(2023/07) "Nishihama" means "Nishi (northern) beach," but the kanji "nishi" is used for this, so it's hard to understand.It's a cheap hotel for overnight stays near the port, but it's also a useful bicycle rental shop for day-trippers. Even if you are disappointed in a poor store, there are many available here as well. The old man who built the guest house himself was still doing well and was working on maintaining his bicycle. It is still barely functioning as a fishing gear and miscellaneous goods store.

It is very convenient as it is about 5 minutes walk from the port. Cottage is a cottage. However, it is at the level of Los Men in Bali. There is only a rice cracker futon, a towel blanket, a pillow, and a fan. I think it would be possible to stay overnight if you are an experienced bag packer. You might get used to it once you experience it.After one night, I felt sore, so I went to a different hotel the next day.At night, customers come again.He is a housekeeper. I don't think it would bite or cause any harm to people. However, if one of them cries out in the middle of the night, you can hear the cries coming from all over the place and wake you up, so if you are not good with reptiles or insects, you may want to refrain from using it.
