I've only stayed here in Hateruma so I can't compare, but I hope it's helpful. It is run by an elderly woman, but a repeat customer takes care of the transportation. My grandmother is usually in her room or in the kitchen watching TV or smoking. He's not unfriendly by any means, so if you talk to him casually, he'll teach you a lot of things.Although limited to one bicycle, you can rent a bicycle for free. It's very convenient if you want to go to Nishihama or the port, and you can also go to the southernmost tip. However, it's first come, first served, so if you really want to rent one, I think it's better to use another rental bicycle. Also, if you are not physically fit, I do not recommend going to the southernmost tip by bicycle. There is a surprising difference in height. For dinner, we shared the side dishes we bought at the store with other guests and had them share some awanami. There were days when my grandmother served me stew. I caught and cut the fish, and my grandmother boiled it for us, and we all ate it. I think you can also listen to my grandmother's starry sky guide. This is by no means mandatory, so feel free to eat elsewhere by yourself. Yuntaku seems to be semi-forced at times, so that's a good thing. The downside is that during the busy season, if you were alone, you would be sharing a room, but the person next to you was snoring so loudly, and there were probably bugs all over the place. The price is reasonable, so if you can't afford to share a room, I think it's better to stay at another accommodation with private rooms, but when it comes to insects, it's best to assume that you can't escape from any accommodation on a remote island. I think. By the way, I was first shown to a private room (pictured), but there seemed to be more guests than I expected, so I was immediately moved to a shared room (lol). Also, the water pressure in the shower was the weakest ever (lol). It was September and it was hot, so I took a cold shower at Nishihama and came back. It is written all over the island, but it seems that water is precious.I was impressed by how many repeat guests there were, but even first-timers had a good time, so I think it's a nice place to stay.
