This building was used in the filming of the TV drama Dr. Koto's Clinic, and is a masterpiece of Ryukyuan architecture that is registered as a tangible cultural property. The roof has a contrast of red tiles and white plaster, and it looks great with the Shisa deer enshrined there and the blue sky. Guests can enter the building and even doze off on the chairs on the veranda.Accommodation is on the second floor of a separate building, with shared bathrooms and toilets, similar to a guesthouse. The room I stayed in was a 6 tatami mat room with a balcony and a TV, so I was able to spend a comfortable time there.In the past, meals were provided, but now it is only a room without meals. However, there are shops and pubs nearby, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I visited by myself in March for diving purposes. ||When I arrived, there was no meal included due to the coronavirus. ||We stayed for 4 nights for 4,000 yen per night. …

It was closed until recently, but due to the recent lack of accommodation on Yonaguni Island, it seems that it will gradually reopen.Currently, you can only stay overnight without meals, and you will be staying in the annex building instead of the main building.There are not many restaurants on Yonaguni Island, so once you have made a reservation for your accommodation, be sure to make reservations for a restaurant as well.
