Although the image is well-presented, the owner never even meets customers, there are many insects, and it is inconvenient to go to the bathroom or toilet.

Thank you for your help in April. The atmosphere in front of the eaves is nice and it is full of nature. There are a lot of mosquitoes, but we have plenty of electric katori and mosquito coils in stock. The inside of the hostel is very clean. The toilet also has a washlet, hand washing area, and the interior is all clean. This is an inn I would like to visit again.

I stayed here this summer.Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I wanted to travel without having to interact with many people, so I looked for a place to rent a house and made a reservation.The house is a renovated old folk house, but it was very stylish and comfortable.I was worried about insects, but after burning mosquito repellent incense on the dirt floor, it didn't bother me much at all.I saw geckos here and there, so maybe they were eating bugs.The door between the earthen floor and the living space closes without any gaps, so the air conditioner worked well.I stayed for 3 nights, and it was very comfortable as the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, as well as a washer and dryer.The bath was spacious and the toilet was modern and comfortable.This is the hotel I would like to stay at again when I go to Yonaguni.

Currently, SAKURA HOUSE appears to be mainly operating as a rental inn, and the general store is open exclusively to guests staying at the hotel. The inn, which is a renovated old folk house, has a stylish atmosphere. Reservations were made through the website. You can purchase miscellaneous goods at shops on the island!

We have some wonderful original goods.I bought a Yonaguni horse key chain. Parking available.Currently, it seems that we are not selling miscellaneous goods due to the influence of Corona. (As of July 2021)

It's a nice shop with a lot of original and stylish items that incorporate Yonaguni-ori, such as bags, shirts, dining utensils, accessories, and camera neck straps.There are signboards for shops along the road, so just follow them and you'll find them. You can go by car as there is a parking lot, but it is within walking distance from Sonai.
