At around 7,000 yen for one night and two meals, this is the most cost-effective accommodation.Although the facilities are old, they are well-cleaned, and even if you are traveling alone, you will not be sharing a room. The rental bicycles at the inn are regular mama's bikes, but you can also rent electric bicycles from Nemo Bicycle, which is located right next door (reservations required). Good location, less than 1 minute walk to the store. Depending on the weather, the hostess will give you an impromptu starry sky tour. There is a lot of fun between customers.If I were to point out a drawback, it would be that the number of people accommodated is small!Maximum of 3 rooms or 4 people. Reservations are generally made by phone, so it's best to inquire early in the summer or during long holidays. The proprietress is running the shop by herself and is often busy, so please take your time and hang out as often as you like. It is almost impossible to fly in on the same day.Also, when I checked with the landlady, she said that inquiries and reservations can be made by text message.

I stayed for 2 nights on a solo trip to Hateruma.It is run by a single lady and seems to only accommodate about 3 groups a day.There are very few accommodations in Hateruma that include meals, so I think this accommodation is valuable.The rooms and facilities are just like a normal guesthouse. Some refrigerators are shared by guests. There is no bath, only a shower. The toilets are Western-style and Japanese-style and clean.Auntie is very knowledgeable about stars and at night she takes me to a nearby spot where the Southern Cross can be seen clearly and teaches me various things. Although he is a lazy person, he is truly a star and you can tell that he likes Hateruma.There is a store at the back of the store, which is convenient. We have alcohol, sweets, etc. On the other hand, you can't buy anything at a guesthouse. A glass of awamori costs 100 yen. The accommodation fee was 6,800 yen.There is a bicycle rental shop next door which is convenient.Reservations can be made by texting the mobile number listed in the Instagram profile. Since there are times when you can't get through on the phone, it's a good idea to send a text message.

A homely inn run by a landlady from the mainland.As there are fewer accommodations with meals available, this hotel is far from Nishihama but is a valuable asset.The room is separated by a single sliding door, so it's not suitable for people who are curious about it.It seems like they only take three people a night these days, so it's quite a challenge.

Cash payment is the norm on the island. There is a post office that has recently been renovated. Although it is a small inn, the energetic proprietress runs it all by herself. They will make you coffee after breakfast. Depending on the weather, there may be explanations about the stars.Bath and toilet are shared. There is a small shop next door. You can rent a bicycle for 800 yen per day.It may be a comfortable place for solo travelers.As the number of rooms is limited, we recommend making reservations early.

First Hateruma. Used for one night traveling alone.It really felt like I was staying at my grandma's house.The landlady has a personality like a bamboo splitter. They take great care of me, leave me alone, and I feel very close to them.Before we arrived, they asked us about arranging our bicycles, took us to watch the sunset before dinner, and went for a walk under the stars. (By the way, my knowledge of celestial bodies is at a professional level.)This price is cheap at Service Comic Comi!Also, what surprised me was that he was actually an incredible travel expert...

The inn is old, but the hostess's friendly personality and delicious food are great. They will also take you to take pictures of the sunset and observe the starry sky, and explain the constellations. It's also nice to have a communal space where customers can have drinks in front of the store.
