It's a place where bears can be seen, but we're mowing the grass, patrolling, and checking videos at the nearby visitor center, and we're also monitoring bear behavior, so we don't think there will be any trouble unless there's something serious. However, it is natural to follow strict rules such as not leaving food or garbage outside the tent.It suddenly became cold, so I rented a blanket for 300 yen. There were other rental items available at reasonable prices, including bonfire stands. It was after a heavy rain, so some sites weren't completely dry, but if you choose a spot you should be fine.Unfortunately, there are too many streetlights, so you can't see the stars clearly, but considering the close relationship with the bear, I guess it can't be helped.I will be repeating it again!

If you are a traveler who can follow the manager's instructions carefully, this campsite is perfect for the summer and is very comfortable and well-equipped.If you're lucky, you can see a starry sky and alpine plants at the campsite.

I think customers will come even if we set up an open-air hot spring bath exclusively for users in the Kaku site area, and the usage fee is about 3,000 yen. For some reason, there are definitely customers who don't want hot spring food and want to eat their own food! That's what I think.

I visited in June when the autumn leaves were in full bloom. We were very careful about bear countermeasures, and we were given careful attention to things like storing food. Apparently they are most active early in the morning and at dusk, and you can use the rest room in the administration building as you like. There was a microwave and a pot, which was handy. The autumn leaves at the campsite were spectacular. I would like to visit during the autumn leaves this year as well.

I stopped by because I was a little tired of sleeping in my car and wanted to go camping. It was a weekday and I didn't have a reservation. The manager was very kind and polite.I was able to use a free site next to the parking lot near the administration building. This administration building is open 24 hours a day and has excellent facilities: microwave oven, electric kettle, TV, stove, coin-operated washing machine, and freezer. In order to prevent wild animals, there is a personal food shelf. You can also separate your garbage.Perhaps because it is in demand as a base for Hachimantai mountain climbers, it is completely exhausted. However, this is a bear habitat, so caution and awareness are required.

I stopped by on a Tohoku camping tour in mid-October.It was cold, deserted, and very quiet that day, and the manager told me there might be bears... (lol)The toilet in the basement of the administration building was clean, warm, and comfortable.

I went during the autumn leaves season. We strictly manage food to prevent bears. If you follow the rules properly, there's no need to be more scared than necessary, but when you're out for a walk, it's important to use a bear bell to let people know that people are there, and if there's no bell, it's important to clap your hands to make some noise. Masu.It was a nice campsite with a great location.I was a little disappointed because I felt that the toilets were not cleaned enough. The equipment is old, but it is flushable, so there is no problem, but the dirt that was left on it at check-in remained until check-out, and the dust and other garbage in the corner of the toilet remained there for a long time, so there was ☆-1 is.
