The guest room was filthy, the floor was wet and disgusting, and most of all it was the owner? It made me uncomfortable as the old man was constantly prying into where I was going and what I was doing. Breakfast is barely a ★2. Overall, the quality of service is poor and I recommend not staying here.

Thank you for staying with me for 2 nights and 3 days. The room was clean and the owner was very kind, making it a great trip! thank you.Along the walk to the beach, you can see red-winged kingfishers, and in the evening, many turtles gather in the garden. The sunset on the beach is so beautiful that it's impressive!I was able to enjoy a meaningful vacation by going around various places on the bicycle that I could rent at the inn (2,000 yen per day).I will use it again if I have the opportunity!

I used it with my friend from France. We had a wonderful time with the kind and careful advice we received regarding activities and dinner. It's close to the beach and has a lovely garden, making it the perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life 😊 Thank you so much 🙏✨

Same impression as the one star reviews written so far. Other than the courtyard and the location near Tsukigahama Beach, there are no other points worth evaluating. One thing that others have not mentioned is that the lighting fixtures in the room are hung too low. It hits me on the head. Also, there were no screens in the kitchen or living room, and the windows were left open, but there was no mosquito repellent measures in place, so I was repeatedly bitten by mosquitoes. The point is that they don't care about the customers.

This is the worst pensionFirst of all, there are no basic amenities such as hair dryers and toothbrushes. This alone is painful enough, but the room is not clean and the breakfast is too simple. They said they would provide transportation, but they didn't.There were also restrictions on how long you could use the shower. There are many worst things, but the worst one is the unpleasant old owner who has no hospitality whatsoever. He keeps coming up to me and asking me questions. It's very creepy. It's my fault for not researching carefully, but I definitely recommend not going there.

It's a good accommodation. Although the building is undeniably old, you can tell that it has been well maintained. There are a variety of flowers in the garden, and you can see that they are taken care of very carefully. The shells and floating balls displayed in and around the garden are probably items from Iriomote's beachcombing.Breakfast also includes local fruit and jam from the pension's garden. Those who stay here understand that it is a pension rather than a hotel, and can use it without any inconvenience.Despite being a remote island, there may be some dissatisfaction among those who seek the convenience of a resort hotel, but for those who come to enjoy nature, it is quiet and has plenty of greenery. I think it's a very good inn. There is also a beach within walking distance. There is also a water hole outside where you can wash away the sand, so you can just go out and swim at the beach and then come back. I think this pension is convenient for families with children who want to play in the sea.

I stayed for 3 nights. The beautiful garden and simple interior with shells and other decorations are very comfortable, and you can tell that the owner has taken great care of the property.I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast made with local vegetables and fruits. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a leisurely breakfast like this at a hotel, even though there are so many buffets these days. The owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Not having a washing machine or dryer is a bit of an inconvenience, but I don't think it's necessary to enjoy island life, and I recommend that people who enjoy these things stay here.Thank you for the fun memories.I would like to ask you again.

It was a wonderful pension.I've seen some sad opinions in this review, so this is my first time posting one.The owner is very kind.Although the number of stores is limited, they provide dinner transportation and tour reservations, and although they may seem blunt, they take great care of the guests.Although the rooms are not large, they are well-maintained, the courtyard is beautifully maintained, and it is very comfortable.Since it is not a hotel, there are no refrigerators, hair dryers, or unfortunately washing machines, but it is a pension after all, so it is perfect for relaxing on Iriomote Island. The playroom (living room) was also a large and comfortable space with a large TV, which was helpful for the children to kill some time.In the morning, we had a hearty breakfast served on time for all three nights. There is a bus stop nearby so getting around is not a problem. In addition, the shipping company's shuttle bus took us from the port (Uehara Port) free of charge, and the owner dropped us off when we returned. We had two children, and we had a 3-bed room, and the bed position could not be moved, and our youngest child was 5 years old and could barely sleep with us, so if we were to come stay again, I think we would book 2 rooms, but if we have the chance, we will definitely come back. It was a wonderful pension.thank you very much.

I think this is a great inn where you can fully enjoy the uniqueness of Iriomote Island. Other people seem to agree or disagree, but the owner is a very nice person who truly loves Iriomote Island. The garden is maintained in a natural manner (overdoing it will take away from the Iriomote Island feel), and is a comfortable and cozy place where insects, natural monuments such as turtles and birds visit. The rooms are not large, and since it is not a hotel, there may be some shortcomings, but since you have come to Iriomote Island, it will be great if you can enjoy the island's uniqueness. We were with noisy children, so our neighbors got a little angry, but that was our fault, not the walls. However, the owner is a kind person who lets the children be free, lets them enjoy nature, and answers all of the children's questions accurately. In the morning, you will be served a different and delicious breakfast for all three nights, and at night you can enjoy the sound of singing frogs and a starry sky that you cannot experience at a hotel. Those who have opinions in this comment should have gone somewhere else in the first place, and aren't they the ones who can't really enjoy themselves even if they come to Iriomote Island? Considering Iriomote Island, I thought that the owner's service, which was not excessive but modest and appropriate, was exactly the point. It was an island and an inn that made me think about this rather than traveling from above. thank you very much.
