It was very disappointing. I used it for my 1 year old child's birthday celebration and for a family trip. Dinner time starts at 19:00 and they will serve it twice. The first time was good, but the second time's food didn't come out easily, and my child was sleepy and started grunting, so when I checked the time, it was almost 9:00 p.m. I did. We had planned a birthday party after dinner, so by the time we celebrated with cake, my child was in tears. I don't understand why the food is served so slowly. The food was a normal Japanese meal that you wouldn't expect to have taken two hours to prepare.Furthermore, although there was no shower in the room, the water tap was an automatic water-saving type, which made it very inconvenient to wash my face. When I asked to use the shower in the morning, I was told that it was not available. After asking three times, I was finally allowed to use it, but it was too late as my husband's parents had already completed the preparations. My husband, who wanted to look good in front of his parents, felt embarrassed. The room was bright with night street lights shining in, and I felt really bad for the child as he couldn't sleep.

This place upholds the tradition of great inns along the Tokaido Road. We stumbled upon this place early in our trip to Japan and fell so in love with its charms that we altered our travel plans to stay here again at the end of our trip. The hospitality is superb and the food delightful. Highly recommended! You will not regret staying here!

This place is fabulous. The rooms are comfortable, the food is amazing, the onsen is spacious, and the hospitality is top notch! We changed our plan in order to come back for an additional night. They accommodated my vegetarian diet with beautifully presented non-meat dishes. It is a little out of the way but worth the trip!

A beautiful modern ryokan yet with lots of history! Friendly and hospitable proprietress who is an excellent cook. Well appointed rooms with ensuite toilet. No ensuite shower in line with being a ryokan, but you can book their private bath on G/F which feel very clean & well-maintained. Enjoyed our one night stay here on our journey. There's a nice matcha cafe called Chaluck a five minute walk away worth visiting too!

If you look it up on Google Maps, you will find a guide to the back of the inn, so be sure to check the final location. The sea side will be at the back.Parking lot is wide and easy to park.It was very clean from the outside of the entrance, and the floor was so clean that it was a little smooth. When we arrived, we went through a polite reception in a room on the first floor and were shown to our room. The stairs are a little steep, but even my 3 year and 9 month old was able to go up and down them. It's safe because it's anti-slip, but be careful not to take your eyes off it.The room is a Japanese-style room with a key, and the amenities include a yukata, a toothbrush, a pot of tea, and a TV!The running water in the room was hot, so I thought it would be useful to have a large plastic bottle of water, and there were 500 bottles for sale on the first floor of the inn.The room is spacious and there is Route 1 nearby, but it doesn't bother me at all. There was a garden in the back and a park across the road! He asked me if I could play in the garden, and he ran around on the grass happily. The bathtub was deep enough to accommodate my 3-year-old son, so please be careful with children when bathing. My sons were so impressed by the bath, which was about three times bigger than usual, that they resisted the urge to swim and just walked around lol.Since this course didn't include dinner, we went shopping at a nearby Family Mart while playing in the park.Breakfast was a bit painful for me as it cost a lot.The sardine hanpen, whitebait with a little grated radish, sakura shrimp, and simmered dishes were all delicious♪It was a very pleasant stay and I wish I had stayed more.I will be visiting the area again so I will go again ☺️

The elegant Japanese-style room and the food were very good. I went on a graduation trip, and the employee's older brother was a smart guy and arranged the meal for me. Next time I would like to go when it is sunny.

I used it for my wedding anniversary trip. The atmosphere was very calm and I felt relaxed and special from beginning to end.I had high expectations for the food since it is a Japanese style inn, but I was very satisfied. It may be obvious, but hot things stay hot and cold things stay cold.Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it must have been difficult to prepare the meals, but I think they were able to provide us with the perfect timing because they stayed with us and watched us closely. There were no vending machines in the building, and they seemed to be selling local beer instead. There was no refrigerator in the room, so when I told them what I had brought, they kept it in the kitchen.Maybe there was no food for sale...If you have ever wanted to drink or eat something in your room, it may be a good idea to buy it in advance (juice, sweets, etc.).There is only one family bath in the building. This is a system where bathing reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis during the accommodation process. There were probably four washing areas, two back to back. The only amenities available are shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, so if you go there like you're in a business hotel, women might be in trouble because they don't have anything.Actually, if I had taken a bath before eating, I would have been able to order alcohol with the meal, so this was my only regret. You can wear a yukata around the facility, but if you are not used to wearing yukata, we recommend that you bring something comfortable to wear as loungewear. It's not a samue or jinbei, but a yukata from an inn, so you can tell that I'm not used to it.Although I mostly stay at business hotels, I was very satisfied with the special feeling of staying at a proper ryokan for the first time in a long time.

I used it on a solo trip. In the morning, I took a walk to the Okitsu River, worshiped the sacred mountain Mt. Fuji, and returned home. It was about a 40 minute walk.
