What a great hotel! The location is excellent, close to all the major attractions on the north side of the island, and the hotel sits on a bay facing west - the restaurant is a great place to have a drink and watch the sun set.The owner, Yuji, speaks excellent English and was very helpful setting up snorkeling and trekking tours for me (ask him about the snorkeling tour to Funauki, it's better than the one to Barasu). The breakfast is excellent and they also serve dinner. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with parking available if you have a rental car. Very highly recommend!!

A nearly private beach and a starry sky to yourself.Breakfast is a heartwarming set meal prepared by a local grandmother.The ingredients in the champuru were different every day.During the trip, my husband fell ill and was in bed for a day, so I refused to have his room cleaned, but I was impressed by the kind service they provided, including replacement towels and an extra bottle of water.When I told the tour guide that I was staying here, he said, ``You must be a maniac to choose the Hoshidate area on your first trip to Iriomote Island!'' lolThe guide also lives in Hoshidate, but I got the impression that there are many people who have lived in this area for a long time.

Both the hotel and the rooms were refreshingly clean, with a TV, air conditioner (free of charge), small refrigerator, water heater, cups, towels, bath towels, bath mats, and muumuu so you could relax in the room.Also, at night, you can lie in a hammock on the rooftop and gaze at the starry sky. It was a little hard to see because of the street lights, but it was great to be able to look at the starry sky while listening to the sounds of insects. The beach in front of the hotel was wide and there weren't many people, so I was able to relax.

This is a family-run hotel located in a quiet village reminiscent of the original scenery of Iriomote Island.The natural beach with a beautiful sunset and the warm hospitality of the owner, who is from the village, were the best.Breakfast was also delicious every day.This time I went for business, but next time I would like to visit with my family.

There is no transportation from the port,They will carry your suitcases, but it's a hassle to ask, so there's no elevator.I think that's the problem.However, the owners are a married couple and both of them are very nice and you can stay with peace of mind.The food is also delicious. I would like to go again if I don't have too much luggage.

I had a great visit at the seaside hotel. Although the weather was bad, I could still enjoy my stay here. The location is beautiful, on the coastline with incredible views during breakfast. I got a room on the backside of the hotel, so no nice views. It's still no effort to walk out from the hotel and walk to the beach for better views. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable even when you're 2 meters tall. You can keep your drinks cool in the fridge and store your belongings in the safe. Sometimes it took long before the water from the tap was warm to take a nice hot shower and the internet in my room was not good. The signal dropped away many times. The breakfast was a fixed set meal for the two days I stayed here. It's sufficient but not an awful lot of food, but very tasty so that's a plus! The owner and his family are very friendly and warm people. I am sure you will feel welcome when visiting!
