A small island near Ishigaki Island. The Regional Government has designated this island as an international cultural heritage, visitors can see the original side of Japanese society here, from the buildings to the culture, this place is highly recommended for tourists who want to see Japanese culture firsthand.

My husband and I, and our daughter (5), stayed for 3 consecutive nights with a plan for 3 consecutive nights or more. I had a relaxing summer vacation feeling like I had returned to my home in the countryside.Wireless LAN, reclining chairs on the wooden deck, hammocks on the veranda, large garden with flower-filled stone walls and lawn, washing machine, detergent, dryer, dishes, cooking utensils, seasonings, Dolce Gusto, insect repellent spray, first aid kit ( We have everything you need to make yourself comfortable, including insect bite medicine (I didn't use it), umbrellas, and rain jackets.The lady at the inn was very kind to us, and upon request, she delivered pineapples from Ishigaki Island.A private snorkeling tour was given to the father at the inn. For my daughter who is afraid of floating in deep water, the bodyboard with the viewing window was very helpful.It should be noted that many restaurants were closed for lunch and dinner, perhaps due to the island's events or the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.Island cuisine for dinner, the sunset on the west pier, the starry sky, fireflies in the forest, listening to the chirping of birds while enjoying the cool evening breeze on the wooden deck, and relaxing in the morning are exclusive privileges for those staying on Taketomi Island.After walking and cycling, I can now return to my accommodation without a map!

It was a wonderful inn! The old-fashioned building is well-maintained and well-maintained, and it was a very relaxing stay, unlike staying in a hotel. The accommodation was on par with a luxury hotel.The management was also a very nice person and paid attention to every detail, making it a great trip!Also, I would like to stay here when I go to Taketomi!

It was my first time on Taketomi Island, and I was very taken care of by the daughter of the guest house and the owner. My daughter was a very kind, funny, and caring person. The owner is very friendly, offering dumplings and drinks, and I would definitely like to visit again. I watched the stars at night in the optional jacuzzi, and I was so impressed by how beautiful it was. We also rented an electric bicycle, and it was cheaper than other rental bicycles, so we were able to keep our budget down. Recommended for those who use bicycles for long periods of time. The roads on Taketomi Island are sandy and it takes a lot of physical strength to cycle, so being able to use an electric bicycle was a great help. The accommodation was clean and I had a very comfortable time. I am grateful to the owner and his daughter for being so kind to me and teaching me so many sightseeing spots on Taketomi Island. I had a great time. I would definitely like to stay again.

When I was looking for a place to stay on Taketomi Island, I found this place that was renting out a whole house. I never thought I could rent out an old folk house in Okinawa!Not only is the starry sky at night, but the feeling in the morning is exceptional.The house and garden were very spacious and clean, and I was told that I could do marine sports there, so I spent the entire day there.Thanks to you, I was able to enjoy Taketomi Island more than I expected, and my family seems to be very satisfied.I'll visit you next time when it's warmer.
