Three parents and children used it when climbing Akita Koma. The room is large and measures 10 tatami mats. Not only did I have no complaints, the bath was fed by natural hot springs of the highest quality, and the food was homemade, seasoned very well, and very delicious. Also, the homemade fruit wine (100 yen for 30ml) is sweet, easy to drink, and cheap. The building has been renovated overall and is clean, but it is old and some parts feel a little outdated.Well, it's not to the point where I'm concerned about it.I think the correct attitude is to not be swayed by the irregular opinions of people who give low ratings here, but to experience it for yourself before making a decision.

I used it on Sunday. The room was a Japanese style room. The toilet, sink, bath, and refrigerator are shared. The bath was a natural hot spring with a great atmosphere and since I was the only guest that day, it was great to be able to take my time. There was Wi-Fi.

I made a reservation to stay the night before climbing Mt. Komagatake in Akita, but due to unseasonable weather, I had to hike the mountain first before checking in, so I was able to stay longer than originally planned. It was a quiet and convenient location, close to the mountains, town, and lake. The guest rooms, toilets, baths, and washrooms were well-cleaned, and the toilets were equipped with a new washlet, which is unusual for a mountain inn. The futon and pillows were soft and comfortable. First, we took a bath in a high-quality hot spring, where the fatigue from the mountain was washed away. If you think about it, it makes sense since it is located in the famous Mizusawa Onsen Village.Breakfast was included, and most of the vegetables, miso, and maple syrup were homemade, so it was full of flavor. Initially, I had planned to order rice balls since I was leaving early in the morning, so I was very satisfied after finishing the whole bowl of rice. When I checked out, the owner and his wife saw me off and the customer service was pleasant. An undisputed 5 star hotel with reasonable prices even during the busy summer season. it's recommended.

I went to stay there by myself in November last year. It's a small inn, but it was quiet and the hot springs were pleasant. I was allowed to take it easy.

The small but nice atmosphere of the hot spring, the delicious food, and the hospitality of the couple were all great (^ω^) If the time is right, you can even see the cherry blossoms from your room. I was healed by the sound of water (*^^*)

Although the bath was small, it was well-built and the hot spring was very nice. The couple who run it were also easy to talk to.

I was about to book a stay here when I read "We do not allow foreigners to stay" (外国人の宿泊はお断りします). This was written in Japanese on a Japanese booking site, so it is clearly not about the language. It's also not about Corona worries because there are no tourists in Japan at this time anyway and I live in a neighboring prefecture.
