Kisakata is such a lovely place, full of amazing attractive scenic places, tasty local yummy food, deep cultures…but why I fell in love with Kisakata is because of people I met, especially because of the owner of this Yamaou guest house. He is a person of great hospitality, so caring, genuine, kind, and also really fun to talk with! If you can visit Akita Prefecture in Japan, I really highly recommend you visit Kisakata and stay at this Yamaou…you might be able to get one of best joyful memories from Japan, like I did make it here.

This is a great guesthouse for Slam Dunk fans to stay at to visit the 300-step shrine. The owner Kato is very kind!!! It was interesting because it was decorated with Slam Dunk uniforms and goods.The breakfast prepared with care was very good. Although it is a bit far away, it is a good place to visit at least once.The beach is nearby, so you can see the sea if you have time.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. The owner was very friendly and the home-like atmosphere was really nice. The cat that comes sometimes is also really cute😊 The izakaya right in front is very cheap, delicious, and the service was good. I felt a lot of Japanese culture in a small town. I want to come again, but the location is a bit difficult🥹

Stopped over in Nikaho when the forecast rain put a damper on our camping plans for a few days. Japanese style 'mini onsen' bathroom, microwave, fridge and coffee maker provided (all shared). The owner Mr. Cato was so nice helping us settle in that we made dinner for him! A wonderful conversationalist he is, with pretty darned good English.

I'm glad I happened to find it on the reservation site and visited!It's wonderful to have a drinking party like that at night.Highly recommended for riders.There are many scenic roads nearby.There is no shortage of topics related to basketball manga 😆I will go again 😀

The purpose of this trip was to ride a motorcycle to Akita Prefecture, watch the sunset over the Sea of Japan, and then ride back along the Chokai Blue Line. However, unfortunately it was cloudy and I couldn't see the sunset. Instead, I had a nice conversation over dinner with the owner and an uncle from Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, who I was staying with. This was also a coincidence, and on the Chokai Blue Line on the way home, I met up with the guy from Kawagoe City again and we talked again! . On the way home, we waved goodbye and said we'd meet again somewhere, but it turned out to be a very interesting motorcycle trip. We recommend staying at this inn where you can see Mt. Chokai as a memory of your trip.
