Used for outpatient bathing. Bathing in the midst of lush nature with smoke rising near the open-air bath is exceptional. Mountain stream open-air bathing is literally a river bathing experience with the source water gushing out from the bottom of the river, a rare experience. If you look closely, you can see tadpoles and nature is in the midst. It's similar to Noboribetsu, and you can enjoy hot springs closer to home here. The hot spring steam bath is hot. It's only for 2-3 people, but it's good for sauna lovers. There are no showers or drinks, just for the purpose of bathing. The water temperature is slightly lukewarm. The quality of the spring water is specialI wonder if there is. I understand that you are in nature, but there are golden horseflies, so be careful not to get bitten by insects. 3 stars because it stung.

I visited as a drop-in hot spring (¥500). The view from the open-air bath was very nice and the hot springs were also very nice. I would like to stay there next time.

This is a secret hot spring inn.The interior of the hotel has a folk art style interior, many decorative items, and a good atmosphere. A barefoot system without slippers. The cleaning is also thorough and beautiful. We were given a room with a nice view along the river. There was an air conditioner, so even though it was a hot day, I was able to spend a comfortable time.I thoroughly enjoyed the famous river bath.I also enjoyed the various baths. It is said to be an alkaline sulfur spring, and the spring quality is smooth and leaves your skin feeling moisturized. The river bath is nice, but I thought the indoor bath was really great.Meals seem to be fixed at 18:00 for dinner and 8:00 for breakfast.I chose the Minase beef steak plan. The food here is amazing. Most of the menu features wild vegetables, but there are also protein-based dishes such as grilled fish, so I think even young people will be satisfied. Minase beef is also tender and very delicious. The amount of salt was perfect, and it was delicious with wasabi on the side. Even the fat was delicious. The hot springs are excellent, the food is excellent, and this is a recommended inn with good value for money.

We just visited the hot spring as a day visit. It's a 秘湯 so it has that rustic old charm about it with old wooden structures and simple set up.The outside hot spring had a small changing area with a shelf of baskets, a mirror and a hair dryer.... that's it. There's a small sauna attached. There are no showers and you can not use your own shampoo or soap. You wash with the basic bars of soap and the buckets provided. There is one insoor HS and two outdoor H.S. (rotenburo). From there, are hot steps leading to the river. The river area is the only place where you can wear a towel or clothing as it's mixed bathing. Some parts of the river are very hot so be careful. No photos of the hot spring (or people using it) allowed.... of course. It's a peaceful place and a nice spot to unwind and quietly relax in nature.

What can I say, the hot springs are amazing. There are two indoor baths, an open-air bath, and the ultimate river bath. The Yukawa just below the open-air bath has become a river bath. You can easily experience a rustic river bath.Since you are required to wear a swimsuit in the river bath, I think it is best to wear your swimsuit first in the river bath, then the open-air bath, and then the indoor bath.Dinner is also arranged with local ingredients such as wild vegetables, mushrooms, river fish, and sashimi, and the amount is too much for an elderly person to finish.I found a place I want to visit again. It is also close to Otakiyu in Kawarage.
