I visited this area and stayed here in June 2024 as a solo traveller. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, as well as speaking very good English. I opted in for the breakfasts as well on Booking.com and you get to choose the night before what you want and what time you want it for.Great local advice, great, clean rooms, excellent, peaceful location and an overall brilliant stay!

Everyone's evaluation seems too high. I stayed for 1 night in a dormitory with 2 people, but there was no hair dryer in the shower room and no hand wash in the toilet. The only so-called amenities are tea bags, and there is a fee for towel rental. I think we paid about 10,000 yen for two people. I would like to at least improve the dryer and hand washing facilities.

Staying at a Japanese house was a fun experience. There weren't many guests, so I was able to eat snacks while watching TV in the living room!

It's a homely accommodation.I thought the owner was friendly and had a nice personality. The room and common spaces were clean and comfortable. I have stayed here during the off-season, and I was very satisfied with the reasonable price of ¥5,025 per night, including breakfast. Breakfast seems to be served after 7:30. Although I didn't use it this time, I thought it would be fun to cycle around the samurai residence since they offer free bicycle rentals. There is English-speaking information inside the inn, and foreign guests often stay here. Also, personally, I was intrigued by the many travel-related books on my bookshelf. I want to use it again.
