A day trip to the hot springs using Yumeguricho. It doesn't have a retro feel, but the open-air bath outside is deep and compact. The indoor bath has lukewarm water and hot water. We have the most equipment in Nyuto Onsenkyo. The soft serve ice cream was delicious.

Quite a sanctuary among the hilly woods - Kyukmura is a lovely hotel (its less a traditional ryokan and more hotel-like) with onsens, modern facilities and seasonal activities without losing the traditional Japanese spirit and hospitality.Kyukamura has 2 indoor onsens, each linked to an outdoor onsens, a nice waiting lounge area, and a small cafe outside the restaurant (one of two places in Nyuto that serves lunch). The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite a spread, and if you are starting to get wearied by often-seen kaiseki served in ryokans, the diversity offered by the buffet is greatly welcomed. One would feel pampered with onsens which are well maintained and equipped, the waters are at the right temperature; in particular one would enjoy the falling snow while soaking in the outdoor bath surrounded by beech trees. The staff are friendly and patient though they do not speak English. Ladies also get to choose their yukata and winter jackets were available for borrowing for personal outdoor activities in the snowy winter when I was there.

I was able to meet up with Onsen Musume. The can badge is a hexagonal variant. Is the day trip hot spring available until 16:00? So it's a shame.

This is Nyuto Onsen Village, which I have always wanted to visit.Unlike traditional places, there is no mixed bathing, so you can bathe with peace of mind.Good things about hot water!!!Naturally flowing water from the source, not circulatingThere is no strange smell after taking a bath.It feels good to put it inThe smell of sulfur is strong, but it's okay if you think it's typical of hot springs. The food is delicious too!!You can also take a forest bath!!You can also visit the hot springs!!I definitely want to come again!! ️
