*First of all, the information on Google Maps is incorrect. The information on Rakuten Travel is correct.Check-in must be between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Even 5 minutes before pm3:00 (pm2:55)Even after 5 minutes past 9:00 pm (9:05 pm), I got yelled at.Accommodation will be refused.Check-out must be by 9:00am.If you don't follow this too, you will get angry. The curfew from going out is absolutely 11:00 pm.It's pretty tight on time.(↑This was not my experience, but another guest was scolded by the store owner in a strong tone.)Also, there is no wi-fi.If you're not a germaphobe and don't mind noise, this is a hidden gem.Next to JR Umekoji Nishi Station,In other words, despite being very close to Kyoto Station,It's super cheap if you stay without meals. When I first made a reservation and stayed there, I was surprised to see a pile of magazines and documents as soon as I entered the door.No matter how many times I rang the doorbell, the shop owner never came out. . After quite some time, grandpa came out.The room is dusty and next to the railroad tracks, so the noise is a concern. The bath is also for home use, but there is a public bath near the inn.The food is as you can see in other people's photos. There is no problem if you go sightseeing at night until curfew and return by taxi.It was run by an old man who was the owner, and the prices were super cheap, so I guess there was nothing I could do about it. I really can't forgive that. So, the main topic is my second stay.Actually, I had planned to stay at another hotel for 2 nights, but due to a mistake, I only booked 1 night...Even though I searched all over the place, it was fully booked.I suddenly remembered and called for help, but at first they called on the same day, so I was suspicious. (I felt that this was Kyoto's "first-time customer refusal culture.") When I said, "Thank you for taking care of me half a year ago, it's ◯◯," and she said, "Oh! That's right! It's okay! I'll be waiting for you." "I'll do it~" and I happily received the OK...lolThese days, you can't book any inns for inbound travelers, but if you don't want luxury, this is a hidden gem. Therefore, I use it as an emergency accommodation when I am in trouble.Definitely not for people with hygiene issues. No objections or complaints to the store owner. They say, "You don't have to stop."↑I heard what was said.Be punctual and smile if you don't say anything. When another guest and the shop owner had a problem, when I passed behind the furious shop owner and said, ``Excuse me,'' his face changed and I calmly said, ``Take it easy.''Also, it's a hidden gem that's super cheap, soI hope it will continue as long as my grandpa is in good health.Essentials: Towels with good water absorption (towels are available, although they are not very absorbent), bath towels (if you need them), tissues, pocket Wi-Fi (if you use Giga often), extension cords (if you are staying with more than one person). If you have any other concerns, please prepare at a nearby Seven.

A so-called "old time guesthouse".Stayed here to go to the Railway Museum quickly. If you're a man traveling alone and your stance is "I'm fine with staying the night," I think it's an exceptional and acceptable choice. The biggest advantage is that the Railway Museum is just a stone's throw away.*However, please note that check-out is until 9 o'clock, so you will have one hour left until the museum opens. There's also a bath, so if you just want to wash your body off, there's no need to go to a bathhouse like the others. However, I do not recommend it to people who like cleanliness. The impression was that the accommodation was on the edge of the acceptable range.

Accommodation tax will be collected additionally. The curfew is 11 o'clock and I'm not really complaining about it, but they keep trying to explain that it's because we live in a cheap hotel. Friendliness is good.

Even though other lodging establishments charge double or triple the usual price during the peak tourist season for the autumn leaves, this hotel operates at really low prices. I can't say it was very clean, but the room had a low ceiling and a rustic feel that made you think it was a tea room depending on how you looked at it. If you walk a little bit at night, you will see the Shimabara gate and lanterns that still have the appearance of an okiya. Shortly after passing through there, you will have a drink at Takomatsu, a delicious oden shop, and then take a bath in Makoto's hot springs and take a nap at Yamato Ryokan, where you will hear the sound of a train. ?I don't care. On my morning walk, I walk around the streets of Okiya in search of my morning coffee. I thought it would be nice to do something like this once in a while.

As soon as I entered the door, it was all messy and dirty.I was kept waiting for check-in, and when I asked for it, I was told that I would be refused accommodation. There were no tissues in the room, and there was a lot of pubic hair on the edge.I don't even feel like using a pillow.I try to warm up the bath, but the gas won't turn on.

You can only use cash, but the air conditioner worked well and I was able to relax. By the way, there is a super public bath about 5 minutes walk away, so I took a bath there.

When I was 5 minutes past the check-in time, the host yelled at me and refused to let me stay. Since it was my first experience, I was a bit disappointed, but I didn't think I would be able to enjoy my stay here, so I didn't argue and went to another hotel that I could book on the same day online. I will probably never use this place again, but it was a shame that I had unpleasant memories of Kyoto.
