I had a delightful time at Ari and Uyung's farm, enjoying their hospitality and the company of the local villagers. The local cuisine was a true delight, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The warmth of the community and the flavors of the local food made this visit truly special. The place is very warmly equipped and very familiar. That's how we always felt, and it was always very important that we were well. Nowhere can you find warmer people on the farm or in the surrounding area!

Had a lovely experience at the Farmstay Manangel. 3 hard working sweet friends manage this Farmstay and you can tell they do it with love. Donāt expect luxury but in my opinion that was part of the Indonesian experience. Good Indo food for a very affordable price and itās so nice waking up in a lush green forest.

I spent 4 wonderful days with Ari, Uyung and Bani, who are the most caring and wonderful hosts I have ever had. We chilled and talked or went out to see/do things together. They also helped me with a lot of practical things regarding planning my trip.They have 3 dogs and a cat, which is a big part of the family, and the neighbors around the small village have chickens and goats.The place is super low-key, nothing fancy but with a fantastic atmosphere and surroundings, which the boys can tell a lot of exciting things about. Stay here if you want to get away from the noise of the big city and feel integrated into the local community of people who take you in as if you were part of their own family.

I had a wonderful stay at Farmstay Manangel. Nestled in the lush nature, in a lovely village amongst the rice paddy fields, the jungle, swimming pools and water falls, it is a wonderful spot. What makes it even more special is the warmth and kindness of the hosts who welcome you as family. I highly recommend!

Farmstay Manangel was such an incredible time with Hari, Uyung and Ari. We shared many delicious Indonesia meals, shared language, culture and stories. Highly recommend! Can't wait to see them all again sooner than later.

best place for weekend getaway! recommended for urban people who looking for calmest places. Mas Ari, Mas Uyung, Mas Farid, and also the neighbor is really kind. hopefully i can go there again. thanks a lot for all Farmstay Manangel

Farmstay Manangel gives me different experiences for stay. If you like peaceful, nature, local tradition, and simplicity, I would recommend you to stay here. The room is simple and traditional, It's only IDR 200-250k per-night. The owner was very welcome with the guest. It feel like I am part of family in here. They feed me local food and eat together with other guests.They also offer me for village walking tour, farming some tropical fruits and I paid 80k for this package. The local was very friendly. I might back to this place someday, really good for heal and avoid crowded.

Ari and Uyung are great hosts and the farmstay is really a very special place to stay in a beautiful area surrounded by nature. Unfortunately I had very little time and could only spend one night there, but the impressions will remain in my memory.The entire area is very lovingly designed, surrounded by small fields and forest. The rooms are in a traditional country house with a breathtaking view.During a walk with the boys we were able to try fresh durian, rambutan and manggis straight from the tree. The descent over the rice terraces became a balancing act that made us laugh a lot.If you want to get to know Indonesia beyond the classic tourist attractions and also very smart, interested hosts and their village, this is the right place for you.

A very impressive experience for me, who was on my first solo trip, accidentally discovered this place and finally I chose to spend my weekend here. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Kang Ari and A Uyung and other friends. It felt like a brother who hadn't seen each other for a long time. They are extraordinary hosts! The lunch with very simple side dishes made me even more amazed at the simplicity and togetherness felt. In the evening we grilled corn and fish with liwet rice, plus the quiet and beautiful village atmosphere accompanied our togetherness that night. In the morning, Kang Ari and I went around the village to see the daily life of the people there. Then I also thanked A cucun and Aang for the coconut treat which was taken directly from the tree right then and there, very fresh! For me, this is truly an extraordinarily impressive experience, where they as hosts serve more than just guests. I can't wait to go back there again, hopefully in the future I can come back there with my friends. Always healthy for the Farmstay Team!

We had a wonderful two days at Ari's farmstay! The location is crazy beautiful and is only matched by the hospitality. Where to even start? We made a trip to Gunung Gede, gazed over rice paddies and had wonderful food shared with great company. As we say in NL, it was very 'gezellig!' Definitely my favorite place during our trip to Java :)
