August 2023.I enjoyed the fireworks in Omagari the day before and stayed the next night for sightseeing in Kakunodate. My arrival at the hotel was delayed due to a delay in the Shinkansen, but they accommodated me very kindly. It's a 15 minute walk from the station, but if you take a taxi you can get there in just one meter. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the samurai residence, and there are storehouses and shops selling Kabazaiku and miscellaneous goods nearby, so I thought it would be a great place to start sightseeing.I was left with a good impression of how politely they responded to my inquiries before making a reservation, so I decided to make a reservation. The food was also very delicious and quite plentiful. We were able to enjoy local ingredients in a variety of ways, and three generations of parents and children enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. We had a special portion for the children, but for two women it was more than enough for the children. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. They will introduce you to a nearby hot spring and give you a ticket, so you can enjoy the hot spring in about 5 minutes on foot. I went to the hot springs in the morning and evening to relax my body. Both the restaurant and the hotel provided very polite and pleasant customer service, and we had a great time and had a great time. The Shinkansen stopped after the Omagari fireworks (100 minutes late), and the Shinkansen stopped on the way back from Kakunodate (150 minutes late), so it was quite a difficult trip to Akita, but the hotels and sightseeing spots were amazing, and it was even more wonderful. Since I was able to make memories, I also had good memories of waiting a while on the Shinkansen.

We spent a lovely night here. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. It's a lovely little hotel, an easy walk to the train station. You can access a local onsen (5 mins walk away) for free with a coupon from the hotel. …

The room is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearby hot springs. There is the famous Ando Soy Sauce Store in Kakunodate behind the hotel. It is convenient to return to the hotel after purchasing. However, it is a bit far from the station. If you carry a large luggage, you need to pay attention. More time.

This is my second stay. I’m glad that my favorite machiya inn is still there after the epidemic. …
