I am a foreign tourist visiting Japan. The hotel suffered damage. After checking in at 10pm, when the door to the room opened, the room had not been cleaned and was quite dirty. Or you may have been shown a room that you haven't checked out yet. I immediately left the room and contacted the manager. I called more than ten times, but no one answered the phone. After that, I tried contacting the reservation site, but it was difficult to connect. At the same time, I tried looking for other hotels, but I couldn't get a room. I was so tired after sightseeing for a day that I honestly couldn't move. In particular, my two children were crying and saying that they were sleepy and wanted to sleep in town, and that they didn't want to move any further. It was quite past 11pm when I contacted the manager via the reservation site. I moved to a vacant room, but it was dirty and smelled pretty bad. Considering my child's situation, I had no choice but to stay for one night. However, as soon as I entered the room, I informed the hotel that I would be staying just one night and checking out tomorrow morning due to the following reasons. I checked out the next morning. I spent an exciting 1.5 hours in a hot town with my two children, feeling helpless and having no choice but to camp out. I am not asking for any compensation, but when I asked for a refund for the remaining 4 nights, I was told firmly that they would not refund my money.I am a foreign tourist visiting Japan. Bad experience, everything was dirty.I had to go out in the middle of the night and buy cleaning products, it was impossible to sleep in that environment.Anyone who rents a place to spend the weekend expects to find a clean and cozy place. Owners should inspect the apartment beforehand and hire people who are qualified to clean.
