Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the hot springs at the nearby roadside station were closed to people from outside the prefecture, so I was introduced to this one.The result was a very correct answer! The building itself is old, as the management changed and it was just renovated on April 28th of this year, but some of the hot springs (open-air bath, cold bath, sauna) were new and very clean. Also, the slightly alkaline hot water will make your skin smooth! (Details below)Also, the brown hot water smells like Chinese medicine and seems to be really effective lolAlso, the wooden deck of the open-air bath was made of cypress, and the scent was very soothing.I was lucky that it was empty even though it was a Saturday, and I was able to reserve it for myself for a while. The receptionist was also very nice and I would definitely like to stop by again if I have a chance.Adult 700 yenHalf price for children[Hot spring details]Kitsuregawa Onsen is a hot spring that is rich in sulfur, salt, and iron, and is known as one of Japan's top three hot springs for beautiful skin.Spring qualitySodium chloride (weakly alkaline high temperature spring) *Weakly alkaline spring containing a lot of sulfur, salt, and iron【postscript】This was posted 3 years ago, but I deleted the photo of the indoor bath (which was reserved for private use and no one else was there).

It was smaller than Kamenoi across the street, and the flow lines were shorter, making it easier to use.The Finnish sauna and cold water bath are also pleasant.

I used it on a birthday trip for my boyfriend who loves saunas.I looked it up on a certain website and was curious about it, so I made a reservation.I looked online at Omaruyama Hotel and found that they are affiliated with an indigo dyeing experience, so I made reservations over the phone as well. The telephone service here was excellent, and although I apologized for not being able to answer the phone several times, everyone at the hotel responded kindly.I was told that the indigo dyeing experience was held at a location about 10 minutes from the hotel, so I went there around 1pm before checking in.About 10 people, including local people, participated on weekdays and created many works. The teacher who taught us was very friendly and kind, and was full of love for indigo dyeing, so we naturally fell in love with the depth of indigo dyeing.I was worried about whether or not I would be able to join the teachers and other local people, but the students spoke kindly to me, and at the same time, everyone seemed to be concentrating on creating great work, which made me interested and inspired by the work.We used two types of bags and tenugui that are currently available for the experience. It was a very easy-to-understand experience because the teacher actually showed me samples, and he talked about various things including knowledge of indigo dyeing and small talk, so I didn't feel tired at all. It was just fun.Dye it 2-3 times ▶︎ Repeat running water and dry it to complete. You can take it home on the same day.I had a rare and valuable experience. This experience was possible because Omaruyama Hotel introduced me to it, and I felt that my trip was even more fulfilling because I had the indigo dyeing experience.During the experience, we were wearing gloves, so the teacher took many photos and was kind to us.I experienced it for 3000 yen per person, but I think it is worth more than this price. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I didn't know I would ever be able to have while traveling, and I was blessed with the local teachers and local people, and I was able to spend a happy time there. The people at the front desk who guided us through the hotel were polite and had a smile on their faces, and just as they had done on the phone, they made thoughtful suggestions that included our opinions. Before the indigo dyeing experience, I was shown the indigo dyed works next to the front desk, and I was surprised to learn that they were made by the staff. They were all very good, and I was looking forward to them as I started to imagine what I would be making in the future. My boyfriend really enjoyed using the hotel's sauna, and said he could do an aromatic self-relaxation session. When I first entered the room, it quickly warmed up to around 90 degrees.I myself went to the hot spring three times: before dinner, after dinner, and before breakfast.I also reserved a private bath and took a relaxing soak. The restaurant staff were also wonderful, giving detailed and exciting explanations, and I was impressed by how delicious everything was while enjoying the meal.Everything was really delicious. The potato soup in particular was so delicious that I wanted to buy it and take it home.Apparently it used to be carrots, and that was also delicious. Not only the rice but also the water is delicious.I had always wanted to try whole sweetfish, so I was surprised that I could do it here.I thought it was wonderful that they used so many things from Tochigi.I think this is perfect for those who are thinking of coming all the way.The indigo dyeing experience teacher came to the hotel to meet me after learning that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and I was deeply moved by his considerate care.My boyfriend was very happy with the restaurant staff and the indigo dyeing teacher, and I was very happy with the dinner. The restaurant staff at breakfast served us with smiles, and the breakfast was also delicious, and we were very satisfied with the amount of food that was just enough to fill us up for our upcoming sightseeing. There were cute creations made by the staff next to the front desk, and I bought a bag as a souvenir.Even when I checked out, the staff were very welcoming and polite, and everyone greeted me with a smile, which made me feel very relaxed. It was a happy space from beginning to end.I felt that my trip was blessed with a lot of people, including the front desk staff, restaurant staff, indigo dyeing teacher, and local people.I was alone in my futon during the trip thinking that I was glad to have chosen this hotel because of everyone's warm hospitality. Tears filled my eyes.thank you very much. I will go again.

The front desk staff was nice, but they couldn't carry my luggage. Maybe they don't have the staff. When I went to the public bath late at night and was soaking in the open-air bath, some of the lights were turned off even though it was still early (lol)However, thanks to this, a sky full of stars appeared that had previously been invisible due to the reflection of the lights on the steam! ! In this case, I think it would be better not to turn on the lights in the open-air eaves.During dinner, the rice cooked in the Oya stone pot was delicious, but I was too full to eat it all. Then, the employee asked, ``Would you like to make it into rice balls and pack it?'' ...I understand that you were being kind when you said this, but it can also be interpreted as treating you like a "despicable customer," so from a customer service perspective, the employee shouldn't say this. If so, it would be better to say something like, ``If you don't mind being rude,'' or ``Our hotel is working to reduce food waste.''For breakfast, the soup (self-serve) was something like kenchin soup, but the first employee who showed me around said it was ``miso soup.'' But it didn't seem like they used miso. I think I probably didn't remember the menu and ended up using the default guide. Are the cafeteria employees part-time or something? This wouldn't happen if we unified the default with "Soup" and wrote the type of soup next to the pot. However, there were some employees who were chatting with customers who seemed to be repeat customers, so it seemed that the customers were following them. I think there are people with good personalities. It seems that the hotel, which was originally attached to a golf course or something, is trying to ``revitalize'' it (the restrooms looked like a training camp), but I think they should do more to hide their frugal aspects from the guests. think.
