The food was delicious. Accommodation costs are low, and the owners are kind and happy. This was my second visit.My first visit was on 24th August 2024 and I love this place so much, I decided just to go there to relax on 22 September - 23rd September.From the first moment you check in to the moment you leave, the owner will be there to greet and send you off.Everything will be explained after checking in.Positives :+ Amazing food, no need to add any salt or any sauce.+ Very clean room.+ Complete amenities in the room and at the Onsen.+ Onsen water is always hot but not burning, perfect temperature.+ They have two onsens and 2 indoor baths.+ Very European touch, I love it. Reminds me of the UK.+ Your pets are allowed to join you for dinner.+ The steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare ( first visit ).+ The chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside.+ The owner is a wonderful chef, a food that requires no additional sauce or salt means it's done by a chef that understands culinary.+ Breakfast, the scrambled egg was so soft and well done. No sign of any burning.Negatives:- None. All perfect!I will come again. Pension Animale is my go to place in Nikko to rest and relax. This was my first time staying at a hotel where I could stay with my dog!It's a great pet-friendly accommodation close to Nikko IC and Nikko Toshogu Shrine! I used the all-you-can-drink plan for local sake and wine!Meal Yoshi! Sake Yoshi! Red wine and white wine Yoshi! Good price! We had the best time!The steak that comes with dinner goes perfectly with the delicious local sake and red and white wine, making it an unforgettable experience!
