A real four stars accommodation. We loved the design choices and layout of the room. The view on the mountain/harbour was lovely. Beds and pillows comfortable. The hotel is well located, close to everything and yet in a calmer neighbourhood. We felt on vacation in a place we could relax. Netflix was available. They have water refill and a self-lock luggage storage if you need for a few hours before leaving after check-out or before check-in. We regret not booking for breakfast before, their coffee was on point! Now we want to try the other Fav Lux hotels they have.Minor cons :Wifi was weak in our room. We couldn’t use Yamato to transfer our luggages from Fukuoka to Nagasaki because they don’t have storage space and their reception counter seems limited to check-in/out times mostly. They should also have clear instructions in English for their in-room laundry machine. We didn’t know our water tap was turned off. Since it doesn’t dry perfectly well, it took us a while figuring out how to program drying mode only.

Very new and nice hotel. Only complaint: breakfast is limited and often sold out quickly. Sandwiches nd bread are mostly sold out by 8am.

A very clean and stylish hotel near the tourist attraction Glover GardenThe room key also uses a QR code, which is a bit confusing if you're new to it, but once you get used to it, it's a very convenient experience. There is a cafe on the first floor and bread is sold until 8pm.There was no bread for sale before or after check-out at 10am the next morning, so you should buy it at night.I only stayed for one night, but it was very good! I would like to use it again on my next trip.

Thanks, it was a pleasant stay in Nagasaki. I really enjoyed the room, the bathroom and all facilities. I'd like to try the private sauna.Hope there will be more information about the hotel and sightseeing on the website or at least in a digital version in pdf. It would be appreciated to receive it both in English and Japanese languages. I like the idea of pre check-in and QR code, but I have not used it during check-in. I think it would be great to find some balance between unmanned digital automated process and hospitality services. I felt kind of disconnected and needed to learn on my own about the hotel and surroundings. Anyway, thank you again.

It really depends on what sightseeing you plan to do. Our main goals were to see Megane Bridge and Chinatown in the evening, and visit Peace Park in the morning. It was a bit far to walk back to the hotel, though manageable. My friend doesn’t like being treated as a foreigner, especially since we live in Japan and prefer to communicate in Japanese. We expect to receive information in Japanese as well. While I don’t mind if the staff can provide the same information in English, we were quite surprised that we received no information about the services the hotel offers. For example, the water service wasn't explained, and my friend had to go to the first floor twice because of it. These small details can change the overall impression of the hotel.Since I work in the same industry in Japan, I can say this is not the level of service we would want to show to inbound guests.

This time we stayed one night each at Bank and Sweet Rooftop Access. We are a family of four with middle and high school age children, and the queen bed in the suite is large enough for two of us to sleep.Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the rooftop because it was under construction (there was a fire), but I was able to get a discount. There are only 3 suites on the top floor, with large windows and great views. The bathroom can also be opened to the balcony, giving it an open feel. It's a jet bath, and the hot water fills up quickly, so I took a dip in it many times. The bank was sufficient and I was able to sleep comfortably. The location is good, and you can walk to Shinchi Chinatown (about 15 minutes) and Shianbashi (just over 20 minutes).Having a washing machine is also helpful. There were 3 detergent gel balls.I'll pick up my nightwear on the first floor.Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:30, and we were informed that if we were late, we would run out of what we wanted to eat. There are also 7-Eleven and Family Mart convenience stores nearby.Glover Garden is very close by, and it was quite hot during the day, so I took a walk after dinner. There are many famous hotels that have been around for a long time, but this hotel is new and has a good location, so I made the right choice and had a very satisfying trip to Nagasaki.Recommended.
