This inn is a good example of the fact that even in rural areas where the population is aging and depopulating, there are still places that strive to provide high-quality services.First of all, the landlady is fine. Listening to the story makes me feel better. You can't go wrong with the dishes prepared by the host.The building is old. However, the entrance welcomes guests brightly. The toilet has been renovated into a Western style. The bathroom is made of tiles with a Showa feel. They serve Yutanpo at bedtime!I happened to be staying at Setsubun, so I had Futomaki for dinner. I thought futomaki was food for children, but the ones here are made with alcohol. It also serves as a local caterer, and many customers come to pick up the futomaki.

I ordered a lunch box. It's very delicious and I have many fans at work. Some people order in advance for cherry blossom viewing etc.

A calm inn along the Kumano Kodo.The wife, husband, and employees are all nice people.It seems that most of the customers are foreigners.

Loved my stay here. This was my second night on walking the Iseji route of Kumano Kodo. Spacious room, lovely attentive service from the owners, delicious dinner and breakfast.

No matter what time I go here, I always come back satisfied with the wonderful hospitality and delicious food.

It's not a walking trip, but I decided to stay overnight.The room is nice and you can see the local railway from the window.However, the partition between the rooms was a sliding door, and the group in the next room started watching TV before 5am. I countered with music (lol)
