The room I stayed in was a room called OKI. This is a room where you can see the ocean from the bed, sofa, and bathroom. There were almost no lights at night, and the waves were calm. It was my first time to experience the feeling of having the tranquility of the ocean to myself. When I first checked in, I was excited to see the beautiful greenery of Ago Bay in front of me. I heard that we will be eating at this building called KAZO, so I'm excited to see what kind of experience it will be.I had heard that the sauna was recommended, so I tried it after returning from the sunset cruise. Apparently they use Ubamegashi, which grows naturally in the area, for firewood, and it had a very nice aroma. The temperature is about 80 degrees. There were two types of saunas, and the facilities were very clean. The meals were visually pleasing, with a focus on vegetables grown in the on-site farm and fresh fish from the market. It was a great consideration for me to listen to the amount of food and adjust it accordingly. The head chef had a wonderful smile, so I highly recommend chatting with him. You may be able to hear interesting stories that only locals know.I was also happy with the selection of alcoholic beverages that went well with the dishes. Pair with fish dishes such as ``CHABLIS'' and local sake ``Hachibee'' from Odai Town, Mie Prefecture. It seems that a sommelier will be joining us soon, so I'm even more looking forward to our next meal.Activities included a sunset cruise, beekeeping, and trekking. It was a valuable experience to learn about Shima's history and nature through the guide. I feel like there are issues with pearl farming and the sea people in Ago Bay, and the state of satoumi that has been lost due to marine debris and the collapse of the ecosystem, and I want to do something about it. I felt like I was able to like Ise Shima and Cova even more by learning about those aspects.

It was a stay unlike anything I had ever experienced before, making me think that it was not a hotel or an auberge, but the category was "COVA".The rooms, exterior, service, activities, and food were all wonderful. What surprised me most was that everything I encountered here was straight from Ise-Shima. COVA did not exaggerate or exaggerate, but it gave me a lot of awareness, emotion, and peace.Thank you for the wonderful stay.

In late June, just after the rainy season started,I stayed there with three friends.I was planning to travel overseas,I was worried because of the weak yen.Is it okay to have some luxury in Japan? That's what I thought when I visited. You'll want to repeat it in different seasons. It was a very nice stay. All the staff members served us politely and with a smile. Thanks to you, I was able to escape from reality for one night and have a dream-like time.thank you very much.

Stayed here in July 2017.It was a place I would like to come back to.【The room】We stayed in a room on a hill called MIHARASHI. There is a sauna with excellent temperature in the room, an open-air bath on the balcony, and wooden chairs, so you can prepare as you like. The scent of wood fills the room, and just being there makes you feel refreshed. You can also listen to records, so it's a great evening drink. There are also a wide variety of alcoholic beverages.【activity】We will discuss activities with the hotel staff before your stay, but after your arrival we will listen to your detailed requests and decide on activities during your stay. All the content allows you to experience the nature of Ago Bay first-hand, such as SUP, fishing, chopping wood, sauna and diving into the sea. It's a mysterious experience that brings you back to your childhood and refreshes you even though you're physically active. The instructor will teach you carefully and kindly, so your first SUP experience will be a great experience.Cruising while watching the sunset and drinking alcohol was the best. Also, the drinks provided between activities are very delicious. I wish they would sell it as a souvenir.【meal】(Dinner) Superb cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients. Each dish has a story, and you can feel the richness of Ise-Shima and the chef's commitment. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, and the pairings that go well with the food are great. A very satisfying dinner.(Breakfast) The Japanese breakfast menu. The restaurant is simple, but of course, the chef's carefully selected masterpieces are astounding from the morning. I almost never eat freshly cooked rice in the morning, so I was very satisfied in the morning.【staff】The staff are full of the spirit of hospitality. I was impressed by their attitude of trying to fulfill my request to the fullest. It was a great stay.

I stayed here in June 2024.[Guest room]I stayed in a room called TAKA facing the sea.The bedroom and bath were both great, but I especially enjoyed spending time on the deck facing Ago Bay.On travel days, I'm the type of person who sleeps in until just after breakfast, but I wanted to drink coffee on the deck before breakfast, so I woke up early. lol【meal】The dishes were made with ingredients grown in COVA, and it was fun to listen to the explanations of the dishes as they were served. They will also suggest drinks that go well with your meal, so even if you don't know much about alcohol, you might be able to find one you like.【activity】We experienced kayaking, snorkeling, cruising, chopping wood, and sauna. The staff will support guests to make sure they have as much fun as possible, so no matter which activity you choose, you'll be able to enjoy it.***I've never stayed at the same accommodation over and over again, but the meals and activities at COVA seem to change depending on the season, so I'd like to book for a different season next time!
