Since my children are small, I thought it would be best to take a long trip within Japan, so I decided to go to Okinawa for my summer vacation this year. This hotel has a good reputation on YouTube, etc., but after staying here for a few days, I would like to write about the good and bad points from my perspective.good point① The overall atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a foreign country, and the interior of the room is stylish. Are you imagining Santorini?② The pool was clean and the view from the pool was great. Of course, the view from the room is also very good.③ The price was also very reasonable for a villa type hotel with a pool compared to large hotels.④ We don't make the food, but we have all the preparations in place for cooking.⑤ There is also a washing machine and dryer. It is safe even for consecutive nights. It's nice to be able to wash and dry clothes at any time without having to worry about the availability of a washing machine.⑥I thought the bed was comfortable. It's spacious and has many beds, making it ideal for families with children. They also provided disposable diapers.Bad points, or rather points to be careful about①The pool is a good size for children to play in, but adults may not be able to enjoy it elegantly. It's not a bad point, but at first I thought the water outside of each pool was a shared pool, but it wasn't (my wife was also mistaken). You cannot go directly from the pool to the shower room, so the room will get wet.② I can't help but think it's a design issue, but basically there are no walls separating the rooms. The dressing room is separated by a roll curtain. The door to the toilet can be seen from the room, and the lower half of the door has a grid pattern that allows sound to pass through easily, and the upper half is made of translucent glass, so you can barely see the person sitting on the toilet seat. I don't even have a key.I think it would be a bit of a concern for young men and women to use it, as it would be a bit of a concern even for family members to use it.I didn't like the fact that the sound of the toilet and the profile of someone stepping on the toilet were clearly visible, even if they were blurry. This is what I personally liked most about this hotel. I thought it would be better to change this door to one with a small window even though it has good sound insulation and allows for light.I wonder if the previous guests don't care?③ Those staying for multiple nights will have to carry a lot of luggage, but this facility has a two-story structure and you will need to climb stairs to get to the upper rooms. It was a bit of a hassle as I had to carry my luggage by myself. Immediately after checking in, I was sweating from carrying my luggage. If you are planning to go to the beach or go to a restaurant, or if you have small children, we recommend a room on the lower level (no stairs) facing the street that crosses the facility for multiple nights.*I learned later that the hotel staff will help you load and unload your luggage if you ask. When I asked for help on my way home, they responded promptly and pleasantly.“Just tell me when you check in…” I thought to myself.④ The upper rooms (with room names such as Duros) have rooftops, and I thought they would relax and drink coffee while looking out at the sea, but the approach was a bit cumbersome and I didn't feel like going there. did. What about the cushioned chairs (permanently installed on the rooftop) where you can relax? bed? Even the cushions have been removed and are made of bamboo? There was only the skeleton.I tried sleeping on the bed made of just the skeleton, but as my daughter and I lay there, I laughed and said, ``It's a bit painful...''I only went to the rooftop once to commemorate. I think the difference between the upper and lower rooms is probably whether there is a rooftop or not.Regarding ③, if you have small children, I think it would be best to choose a room on the lower level.⑤ The road leading into the hotel is narrow and quite rough. If it wasn't a little more paved, paper drivers might be careful about renting a rental car (especially a large one-box car). (This can't be helped because they can't just pave public roads without permission.)Also, I thought I wasn't allowed to drive across the road within the hotel grounds, but apparently it's actually allowed. If you pass through this road, there is a parking lot at the back, which is the closest to your room. If you don't cross it, you'll have to climb further up, and there are several parking lots here as well, but if you're planning on staying a long distance, you'll have to go down the hill to bring your luggage. It's not a shortcoming, but I have a few opinions. There are kitchen utensils, but Saran wrap, aluminum wheels, seasonings, etc. are not available here, so if you are thinking of making a light meal, you will need to prepare. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so if you're going during mosquito season, it might be a good idea to buy a spray vape or something similar. There are leaflets for each store with information about restaurants and delivery, but it's hard to understand. For example, I thought it would be nice to have a simple hand-drawn map that summarizes the types of nearby restaurants (Western or Japanese), places that offer delivery, and places that offer take-out in an easy-to-understand way. .Having stayed at many villa-type hotels with pools in Okinawa, I can't help but compare the good and bad points of each facility, but since they all have different prices and sizes, I can't say which one is better... .I have written a lot about this hotel, but overall it was good.Regardless of how I understand the concept of this hotel on Kouri Island, Okinawa, which is reminiscent of Santorini Island, I felt it was stylish.I don't think it's possible to hire a lot of staff in a room this size with only 8 rooms, so if you're looking for (attentive?) service that will come to your room 24 hours a day if something happens, I think it's best to stay at a large hotel. If you want a large hotel at the same price, I think you should give up on the villa type.I usually stay in a villa with a pool at a large hotel for half of my itinerary, but I imagine that the nightly rate for these villas is about 2-3 times the price here. Also, when evaluating hotels, some people say things like ``the service is...'' But when it comes to service, do you really expect such great service when you're just staying at a hotel? I will think. You can stay in a villa with a pool at a relatively reasonable price.Men and women can enjoy a relaxing time looking at the beautiful scenery from stylish rooms without worrying about other people's eyes, and families can enjoy spending time with their children at the pool.I thought it was pretty good overall.I can recommend it.
