Well, we booked this hotel online and discovered it is one of the Japanese ‘discreet’ or ‘love’ hotels that dot the country. We stumbled onto one earlier on this week and it was up market and stylish but this really one could feature in some Tarantino or Wez Anderson movie! Dimly lit, the reception has fake candles and a draped curtain so that the guest and reception staff do not have to see each other. Tiny cramped lift, hallway dimly lit with Hawaiian piped music. The bed - comfortable and with white sheets, the cheap flounce around the bed is broken and tacky, towels thin and brown in colour. Nothing special about this place except the room and bathroom with its bath for two are larger than regular hotels. There is even some sort of gambling machine in the room. Can’t say it is quiet as we hear passing trains.Ultimately though, aside from its downmarket tackiness, good value for money particularly if you are on a tight budget. Even though our room is ‘nonsmoking’ there is that lingering odour.

The room was very clean, but the customer service at night was the worst. I was really angry at the response of the woman with whitish-gray hair. He's cold and has a bad attitude.The cleaning of the room was very clean, so I would like to use the service again if the person leaves.

Of the two women, one had a pretty good customer service attitude, but the other BBA had a very bad attitude.I don't know if they've been doing this for a long time, but I think that kind of response is not good.I'll never use it again, but it's too unpleasant.I have to make him quit or give him proper guidance.

We left Nagoya late on Friday night and stayed overnight in preparation for sightseeing in Ise the next day. 5 stars for the location near the interchange. It's also cheap at around 6000 yen.The exterior has a tropical feel and is photogenic at night. The inside of the building, including the front desk, had a nostalgic feel with a Showa era feel!
