This is different from the Fish Restaurant Yamaya in the foreground, so make sure you don't get confused.I stayed here for swimming because it had good access to Lalala Sun Beach. (However, when you are at Ralara Sun Beach, you must park on that side. ¥1500)The room is clean. wide. There is also a pot of cold tea in the room. Shunyosou Yamaya(Nishiura Hirasawa, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture)Yamaya is a long-established seaside cuisine inn founded in 1979 in the Nishiura district on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula, 50 minutes by car from Numazu IC on the Tomei Expressway.It is located along Prefectural Route 17 (Numazu Toi Line), which runs along the coastline along the beautiful Suruga Bay, and is right next to the popular beach "Larara Sun Beach".The restaurant is open for lunch as a cafeteria, and is so popular that there is often a waiting list even on weekdays, including families, scuba divers, and sea fishing customers. The owner also works as a broker for a local fishermen's cooperative, and he carefully selects and purchases fresh local fish from the market every morning.The lunch menu includes the famous ``Taidon'' made with local red sea bream, ``Namerodon'' made with fresh horse mackerel, and a set meal of boiled golden sea bream. The surrounding Nishiura area is famous for producing mandarin oranges, and "mandarin orange rice" is also available only during the mandarin harvest season (from October to March).The eggs they sell at the store are fertilized eggs grown on their own farm, and the chicken farm they opened about 20 years ago has about 400 free-range chickens. The bait used is store-bought fish scraps, vegetable scraps, rice bran, sawdust, etc., which are stirred daily and incubated for at least four days.I visited on this day around 13:00 on a weekday. If it was a shop near Atami Station, it wouldn't be strange for it to cost more than 2,000 yen. The broth has a light and elegant flavor. Comes with rice, miso soup, hot spring eggs made from our own farm, pickles, and a small bowl.●Namero (small bowl) 680 yenWhen it comes to Numazu, it's all about the local horse mackerel, so we added a single dish of horse mackerel namero (seared horse mackerel with miso sauce). Lots of flavor from the fatty horse mackerel. Namero uses less miso and the horse mackerel is the main character. I've heard a theory that the kanji for horse mackerel comes from the word ``to come'' because the taste is so delicious, and that's exactly right.
