Stayed here during a solo trip to Ise. I didn't do much research on surrounding facilities and chose this hotel because it included a large public bath and breakfast, but I think the location is a little inconvenient. It is located about 5 to 10 minutes by car from Ise City Station, and it is difficult to access from the station, so it is better to use the shuttle bus. (Reservation required one day in advance)As for public transportation, Mie Kotsu's buses are infrequent in the first place, so there is only about one bus per hour, and in the evening, if you leave the bus rotary in front of Ise City Station after 6pm, there are no other buses. This effectively becomes a curfew when using public transportation. I was naive and thought, ``Well, if I stay until around 7pm, I can take the bus home,'' but I couldn't head to the hotel and ended up having to take a taxi. If you take a taxi from the station, it will cost about 1000 yen.Regarding transportation, as mentioned above, it is almost assumed that you will use your own car, and there is a free parking lot. It also has a bicycle parking area for bicycles, which is very rider-friendly, which is rare for a hotel of this type. There are plans where you can check the status from your hotel room at any time using a dedicated surveillance camera, but if you're on the go and don't want to worry about that, there's a space under the slope where you can park about 4 bikes, so it's a good idea to park there. I thought so. However, this one gave me the impression that it was a little narrow. If it's a large cruiser with a bit of width, it might overflow from the space available for one car, so if possible, it would be nice if you could divide the two cars on the lower floor of the multi-storey parking lot so that four bikes could be parked. As a rider, I am grateful. There is a Family Mart convenience store right in front of the hotel. There is a Welcia drug store nearby, but it's a little far away at about 2 bus stops away, so if you don't have any particular preferences, you can probably do your shopping at Family Mart. However, since there are no supermarkets in front of Ise-shi Station, it is no exaggeration to say that there is almost no place for tourists to buy cheap drinking water and sweets from around Ise-shi Station to around this hotel. . It may be a little inconvenient for people who like to drink at hotels. There are also no restaurants within walking distance. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and an izakaya next to Family Mart, but there are almost no options, so you will probably have to eat around Ise-shi station, but eat around Ise-shi station. As mentioned above, there are bus times, so be careful. It's not the type of town that stays open until late at night, so please be aware that there are quite a few shops that don't open at night.I think the hotel room facilities and plumbing are commensurate with the price and age of the building. I think Toyoko Inn in local cities also has this kind of equipment. As for the public bath, it's not very large, but if it's this big, there's no particular problem. However, the changing room is quite small, so if there are 2 or 3 people there, it can already feel crowded. There is a noren (noren curtain), but if the structure is in a bad place, it may be visible from the outside. The temperature of the water was a little lukewarm (maybe around 40 degrees?). Those who like piping hot hot springs may not be very satisfied. The open-air bath on the rooftop has a pleasant night breeze and a nice view. There is no drinking water in the bathroom. Be careful not to lose too much water. I would like to have a water server, but it seems difficult in terms of space.I was surprised because it wasn't mentioned on the website, but there is actually a manga space next to the public bath. We have a wide selection of comics for boys and girls, etc. There are no entertainment options in front of the station, so you won't get bored even if you end up heading back to your hotel right after visiting Ise. If you write the title on a piece of paper and bring it to the front desk, you can take it back to your room. There is even a request box. As a side note, on the paper with instructions on how to write a request, I wrote "Candy Candy". There are definitely people from different generations among the staff. This time I stayed at the hotel while traveling to Ise by train, but next time I plan to use it when traveling by motorcycle.
