Before talking about the ingredients or quality of hot springs, I am fed up with the uncleanness of the hot springs. It says that 200 liters of water comes out per minute, but if you pour 50 liters into each of the four bathtubs and let them overflow, you should be fine...Because the water is circulated and filtered without overflowing, sebum, hair, and grime are all floating on the surface of the hot water, making it very unpleasant.I checked in after 3pm and went straight to the public bath, but there were a lot of day trip bathers, so I was just washing my hands. The indoor bath is difficult to see because of the jet bath, but the outdoor bath is illuminated by the sun and you can clearly see the dirt, sebum, and hair floating on the surface of the water, so I decided not to take a bath.If the amount of hot water is abundant, why is it only circulated and filtered without overflowing? It's not dirty anywayWorst hot spring life everIf it were to overflow and just spill out dirt on the surface, it would be an inn that would receive the highest rating. It's a great facility that far exceeds my expectations. The quiet and peaceful scenery of the mountain area is the best, and the clean facilities, courteous staff, welcome sweets, and free coffee are all very good. That's why it's such a waste to have dirty hot water.I'm really sorryCheck out is at 10am, but the cleaning staff is noisy from around 9am.It's the worst because he keeps knocking on my door for 10 minutes.

I stayed here looking forward to the open-air bath in the large public bath and the boxed lunch. The front lobby was clean and the explanations provided during the stay were thorough, so I thought this was a popular inn. However, when you enter the room, there is a disappointing smell. Humid smells are common in hotels, but here the air from the air conditioner smelled musty and gave me a headache. If you open the window, insects will come in, so be patient.I took an open-air bath to enjoy the view, but to be honest, I felt... It's not that the scenery was bad, but I had seen the riverbed and mountains many times before coming here, so it felt less fresh. Still, the air was nice and I had a pleasant bath. Since the bath is a hot spring with added water, the scent of the body soap was better than the scent of the hot spring. When I returned to my room, I noticed that there were spiders and webs in several places. Since this is a hotel in the mountains, these kinds of insects are tolerable. But I wonder if the staff doesn't notice the cobwebs stretching from the cooler to the ceiling? Well, it's farther away than my place in the room, so I'll pass. Also, in every corner of the Japanese-style room, there were, what should I say...a few obvious strands of hair.I think it can't be helped if there is some dust, but I'm a little disappointed because I don't know how long I haven't vacuumed it.It was my lunch box the next night, and it was really delicious! The fried food was crispy, and the sashimi, simmered dishes, and vinegared dishes were all delicious and a complete meal. I was also satisfied with the quantity. One bottle of water (500m) for each person is provided in the room. There's only one bottle per person, so if you don't have enough, you can boil the tea in the room amenities, use the water in the bathroom, or use the vending machine. From this point on, if you don't like insects, I think it's best not to read any further. After that, I wanted to relax in my room, but a spider suddenly appeared. Maybe it came out of the cooler... I watched TV and went to bed even though I was worried about the movement. So, when I turned on the light in the middle of the night, there were three spiders on the wall. Are you friends? One of them was a large individual measuring 3 to 4 cm.Where were you hiding? There was nothing I could do, so I pretended I hadn't seen it and turned off the lights. However, I was worried and couldn't sleep, so I turned on the light and checked after about 3 minutes. Whoa, are we getting closer?Because of that, they come closer and then move away. However, they were gradually coming closer to the futon, and when I turned on the light for the third time, one of them was right above the futon, so I got fed up with it, wiped it off with a towel, and placed it in the trash with a cushion. I guided it and put the lid on it. (It's been quite a struggle so far)There were also spider eggs in several places in the ceiling joints, and as these hatched, the number of spider eggs would naturally increase, and the lighting was also full of spider webs. I was wondering why the cleaners didn't remove it. Even though spider webs and eggs are visible in the room, I wonder if the cleaning staff doesn't look up or purposefully leaves them alone. When it hatches, it becomes Naya Spider Mountain.Since it's a hotel in a mountainous area, the insect problem can be avoided to some extent, so I thought that was the case and stayed at a hotel in a mountainous area. However, I would like to request for removal or countermeasures. And cleaning.

Used when touring Kumano Kodo. If you google Wakayama, it won't come up because this is Mie Prefecture. In this area, Nara, Wakayama, and Mie are stacked on top of each other, and I happened to come across a last-minute campaign, and it was so cheap that I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised at how beautiful it was. The location is great, and you can see the majestic river and the open-air bath from your room. I also appreciated the coffee and jelly service. There is a restaurant attached, so it's convenient even if you don't have a meal and make a reservation. In the morning, freshly made hot take-out Mehari sushi and rice balls (150 yen each) are also on sale. Above all, the hotel's hospitality is wonderful. There are some narrow roads along the way to reach this hidden inn, so we recommend arriving before sunset.

I stayed in a Japanese-Western room. It was spacious, clean, and I felt comfortable. The staff was also very helpful. The food overall was delicious, but the grilled fish was cold and hard. However, everything else was good, so if I have a chance, I would like to stay here again.

Driving westward along Road 311, which overlaps with part of the Kumano Trail, we encountered a beige-colored steel bridge over the Kitayama River as we exited a tunnel near Kiwacho. The confluence of the Itaya and Kitayama rivers was to our north, prompting a left turn onto a road along the Kitayama River. Within less than 1 km, we found Iruka Onsen Hotel Seiryuusou on the left. The hotel, situated on an outer bend of the Kitayama River, is elegantly decorated, offering a luxurious yet simple atmosphere. The reception, manned by a couple of middle-aged men, was somewhat cold but professional. We were assigned a ground-floor room next to the staircase, equipped with tatami-style beds, though the cleanliness left something to be desired, albeit very slightly so, possibly due to the aging furniture. With little time to spare, we headed to a lookout spot we had seen on our way to the hotel to admire the Kitayama River. Despite the drizzle, which enhanced the experience, mist rose from the flowing water, creating a dreamlike scene. We enjoyed a decent dinner at Yamatoya, the only 'bigger' restaurant nearby, followed by a relaxing onsen experience at the hotel - by the way, most of the people in the onsen seem to be Kumano Kodo backpackers. The next morning, after revisiting the onsen and having a satisfying breakfast, we attempted to catch a sunrise east of Kiwacho but were unsuccessful. However, we did visit the confluence of the Itaya and Kitayama rivers north of the bridge, where we found beautiful scenery. It is unfortunate that, due to shortage of time, we skipped a few worthy scenic spots nearby, including the Doro Kyo Gorge, Nunobuki Falls, Tamakiguchi, and the Megaliths; however, we now have another reason to return to this area.Overall, our stay at Hotel Seiryuusou was a great experience and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I used it for a stay in September. The interior of the Japanese-style room is beautiful, but since it is a place surrounded by nature, there are many insects. There were multiple spiders and spiders in the room, and there were 4 spiders on the windowsill and curtains in the room, and when I looked at the ceiling while lying on the futon, I saw 2 spiders hanging from the light. The plan was for a bento box, but the evening meal consisted of fried chicken croquettes, chicken, chashu pork, and sashimi. The taste was delicious and it was warm.

This is a relaxing hotel located along a quiet river. Since I was traveling alone, I chose a plan that included a bento box, and the lunch box I received in the morning and evening exceeded my expectations. I was also satisfied with the hot springs.

It was probably the best hot spring inn I've ever been to.The staff were kind, the hot springs were nice, and it was quiet at night. The stars outside were also beautiful and I was impressed. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is that there wasn't a lot of parking space for motorcycles, so I guess there were probably more motorcycles on that day. But I was able to stop it safely.
