Even though I arrived early, they kindly allowed me to leave my baggage and after check-in, I was quickly guided to an air-conditioned room. Check-out was just a matter of leaving the key, so I think it's suitable for those leaving early in the morning. When it comes to quaint ryokans, I think they usually have to put up with the sanitary aspects of hot springs, but this one also had a filtration system and the bathtub was very clean. It was a wonderful inn with a well-maintained courtyard and an interior full of history, and where you could feel the owner's careful cleaning and consideration.

A wonderful ryokan full of atmosphere✨The building itself is very old and has been designated as a tangible cultural property, but it is well maintained and the communal toilets, washrooms, and communal baths are very clean, and I am a bit of a germaphobe. I was able to spend a comfortable time without worrying at all. The floor and walls of the room are thin, so other people staying in the room spend their time quietly, and sometimes the small children next door come and go. I was able to spend a very happy, quiet and relaxing morning listening to the laughter and chirping of birds 🌸 I also had a delicious Japanese breakfast with just the right amount of healthy ingredients. For dinner, we went to an excellent izakaya 🏮 Toramaru (reservations required), which was just a short walk away, and had a great night. I would like to thank the staff at the hotel for being so considerate and giving me a valuable experience.2023.10.12-13 stay

Simply a work of art! The entire hotel is a reflection of traditional Japanese culture! The appearance is very Japanese-style and beautiful, with a beautiful Japanese garden. You can feel the strong traditional cultural atmosphere as soon as you open the door. The owner of the hotel was very nice. We went to store our luggage in the morning and let us leave it at the door. When we returned to the hotel in the afternoon, he already put it in our room for us. After checking in, the owner took us on a tour and explained the entire hotel, rooms, toilets, bathrooms, living rooms, libraries, information corners, etc. We were also reminded that there are three very close hot springs nearby. If we are not in a hurry and it rains, we must try them. There is also the Suikinkutsu, which is very exquisite. There are seats in the corridor in front of the courtyard, where you can enjoy the wonderful Japanese garden while drinking tea. The flowers in the vase are also very artistic. You must come and experience it for yourself, highly recommended! ! !Of course, there are some shortcomings, 1. The sound insulation is not very good, 2. It is a 10-minute walk from the Kintetsu, 3. The room smells of hay (tatami). But I don’t think it’s a problem. Friends who don’t mind can come to Ise and experience it for at least one night! I think it's very worth it!

A wonderful place for someone looking for a true Japanese experience! The hosts go out of their way to make you happy and help you. The onsen are also a very authentic touch that adds to the experience. They are able to accommodate vegetarians by changing the lunch (which is delicious), included with a reservation.

I visited on 2024.03.30.It was my first time visiting Ise, and I stayed with you for just one night. The building itself is designated as a cultural property and is quaint and wonderful, and the staff were kind and courteous. It feels like a nostalgic inn, with rice cracker futons and windows rattling in the wind.It may not be suitable for some people because it has a shared washroom, shared toilet, and shared bath (you can lock it and enter each room), but I think it's valuable to be able to have such a nostalgic experience at this price, so it's just beautiful. Recommended for those who are tired of traditional hotels. In the Ise-Kawasaki area where the inn is located, there are many wonderful shops that have been renovated old houses, such as delicious udon restaurants, sushi restaurants, wonderful miscellaneous goods stores, and bookstores, so the location is perfect 👍👍👍.
