Thank you for staying in the special room "Musashi" with a separate open-air bath. The hot springs are rock baths and can be enjoyed in a very spacious and luxurious manner. The room was well arranged for two people to spend a relaxing time, and it was clean and comfortable. It's even worse because the meals are served in the dining room and in your room. You can enjoy a relaxing view of the Houki River below from the balcony. I would like to repeat here.

The room didn't have an open-air bath, but it was comfortable along the river. The amount of food was sufficient and the seasoning was delicious. The private bath was also nice as it was along the river. It was comfortable to have towels in the bath and use them freely. Perhaps because it was a small inn, I only met one person in the bathroom each morning and night. I want to go again next time. 202409

Overall it was a satisfying stay. Thank you to all the staff at the inn.I stayed one night in a detached suite called Musashi. There is another suite called Izumo, but I booked this one because I was attracted by the rock bath in the room.Musashi had the impression that the rooms had been renovated without changing the layout, but they were well-cleaned and comfortable. The lanterns in the rock bath and the incense in the room created an extraordinary atmosphere. There are two baths that can be reserved for private use, and I enjoyed both of them, and I really like the atmosphere of this one, which is like an infinity open-air bath deep in the mountains. The food wasn't anything special, but it was delicious. The red soup stock for dinner was very salty, and I thought I might have made a mistake in the amount. I think there are individual differences in the number of items and menus, but I'm satisfied. Some people may say that the breakfast in particular needs to be more luxurious, but for me, the number of items and content was sufficient.Once, I was fed up with the low level of foreign staff at a certain inn (I didn't mean it because they were foreigners, but because I was fed up with the laziness that Japanese people showed to customers without proper training). ), so it was a journey where I was soothed by the smiles and service of all the Japanese staff.Since we were staying in a suite, there were some services only available in the suite, such as having the leftover rice from dinner made into rice balls, seeing you off and drinks when you departed, free drinks in the refrigerator and lobby, various amenities in the room, hair care, etc. It was a very comfortable stay, with irons provided, etc.

When I stay at a hot spring inn, I like indoor baths and private baths, and both were wonderful.Especially the private bath. The spacious hot springs, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the river in front of you and listen to the sound of the river, were quite relaxing. The Japanese food was very delicious, and even as a Japanese food lover myself, I was very satisfied. I reserved a bento box as a souvenir and had it when I got home, and I was impressed by how delicious it was. Thank you for your heartwarming hospitality until the end. It's far from the station, so you'll need to go by car, but the drive is also fun.

The open-air bath along the river (reservation required) is wonderful. (Japanese sake is always available inside, so you can take a bath while drinking it.)This time, I booked a room that also had an open-air bath, and the open-air bath was also wonderful. The lineup of sake available at mealtimes is amazing, very tasty, and reasonably priced. The meals were delicious, using only the best ingredients.Recommended for people who like alcohol and hot springs.By the way, the hot springs are fed directly from the source.

It's a very beautiful accommodationThe furniture is also neat.We had matcha tea and Japanese sweets in the lobby, but the room also had manju, cookies, and pickled vegetables.Looks like I'll be full before dinner 😅In addition to the large public bath, there are two private open-air baths.I made a reservation for “Koyo no Yu”The next morning, the other ``Aoba no Yu'' will be used as a men's bath instead of a private one, so you can enjoy both.Since it's close to a river, I was worried that a bear might come in.Watching too much news...When I tried to take a bath in the open-air bath, a bear was there first! I think it would be a big buzz if something like that happened...Dinner was very delicious, high rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️Nikko Kogen beef steak is the bestThe overall menu using vinegar is excellent.I tried a Junmai Ginjo called Ona, but it was a little too spicy.A firefly viewing party was held after dinner.Dozens of them are flying around a short drive away.It seems like it will continue to increasefeel the richness of natureHow many decades has it been since we saw fireflies?I think it's about the second time in my lifeI thought they would perch on leaves and glow, but most of them were flying while glowing.I was surprised at how high it flew.I was impressed with the excellent response from all the staff.I think it's rare to find an inn with such kind, courteous and heartwarming customer service.I will stay here again when I come to Nasu.
