It was a pleasant time to relax and listen to the sound of the river. My daughters have food allergies, so I brought in some ingredients to cook, but I was very happy that I was able to leave the washing up to them, and the barbecue stove was on standby so I could just light it, so it was easy to prepare. It was a cold night, but the warmth of the barbecue stove made us feel comfortable and we continued to watch the charcoal fire after our meal. The staff's response was also very pleasant. I would like to visit regularly.I'm not good at driving, so I was worried about the roads, but even I, a Sunday driver, can drive smoothly, so I think most people will be fine. It took about an hour to get there from downtown Kyoto. Please note that the road is narrow if you go from the Kibune direction.

This is my second stay.It was changing little by little. The firewood was placed in an easy-to-find place, and instead of starting the fire from scratch, they had cut it into small pieces and kept it lit so that all I had to do was light it.They were also careful about safety, including wearing sandals for playing in the river. Both children and adults were satisfied and said they would like to go again.

The excellent location and sauna were the best experience! !Although it's a little far from Kyoto city, I was able to relax during the day with a very beautiful river right in front of me.At night, I had a great time having a karaoke competition with my friends in my room! !Next time I would like to go in the summer! ! !

From the perspective of people from outside the prefecture, is this within Kyoto City? I wonder if I'll just go to a house alone? It was at the end of a mountain road that surprised me (it's okay if you're not very good at driving). It is a wonderful location surrounded by nature. It's located on a moderately high ground along a river in the mountains, and the view from the windows that line one wall of the room is spectacular. You can hear the sound of the river and feel like you are truly in nature. Preparations were made so that people could go outside and light a bonfire by the riverbank. The optional tent sauna was set up on the private deck when we arrived, and was heated by a wood stove. I had only ever been in a sauna at a bath shop, so I looked it up on the internet, prepared a swimsuit and a sauna hat, and was quite worried about how to protect myself from the cold. I had fun getting in there and sweating. It felt like a special experience to be able to enter without worrying about being seen. The facilities are so clean and comfortable that you would think they are almost a resort hotel. We chose the breakfast and dinner plan, but all the ingredients were provided and we had to cook it ourselves, which gave it a glamping feel rather than a hotel. However, all you need to do with fire is to start a charcoal fire on the BBQ grill. Rice can be cooked without failure using a fire starter in the clay pot provided, and the ingredients are pre-cut and steaming equipment is prepared for each, so if you read the manual and prepare, most dishes can be completed in about 20 to 30 minutes. . In normal camping, it is difficult to prepare a meal with such a variety of items, so it was a pleasure for us to put a little effort into it, which was just right for us. If you're good at cooking outdoors, I think it's a good idea to bring your own ingredients. If you want to enjoy an extraordinary experience, we recommend a meal plan where you can enjoy luxurious ingredients. The outdoor dining area is surrounded by transparent material to prevent wind from entering during this time, and a kotatsu and hot carpet are also installed, making it more comfortable than being outside. I also brought fleece and thick socks, so I didn't feel cold during the time between preparing and eating the meal. The bath was filled with hot water and kept at a constant temperature, making it easy to take a dip before or after the sauna or when you wanted to warm up a bit.
