Lakeside sites are always popular. In particular, the lakeside on the former Prince Hotel side has a good amount of shade, so it's not always easy to hang out.Bottles, cans, and plastic bottles were to be taken home.

2024 10/5 Early check-in early Saturday morning. It was my first time staying in a tent, and I successfully set it up under a tree on a hill on the lakeside side.It was after a night shift, so I fell asleep for a while after setting up, and when I woke up, there were two customers sleeping under tarps in the small space in front of me...🥲 (I can't help it)Last year I stayed in a bungalow, but after allIt's great to be able to pitch a tent anywhere you like and enjoy the great outdoors.I ran out of cigarettes before 8pm, so I walked to the parking lot without lights to go to Mimuraya, but it was extremely scary. It feels like a natural safari park 😏Thank you very much for all the wonderful memories this year 🙇I'll be back next year 😊

It smells like a river, and the smell was coming out everywhere, probably because it was stagnant all over the place. Please do your job as the old man at the store. Please don't leave your young sister alone forever.I left the goods and money on the counter, but please don't take them away forever.A small tarp for one person and a tent for two adults costs about 6,000 yen.Shall we do it for a while? image likeHmm, it's far from the parking lot.Even though it can be carried in a rear car, it is still far away...

I rented a cottage (cabin). But from the moment I opened the door, it smelled like mold...There is also a futon, but of course it smelled of musty, just like a mountain hut.Maybe it depends on the room...?I was so worried that I couldn't sleep much (lol)The location is great and other than that it's a great campsite, so next time I'll bring a tent!

There was one overbearing old man at the management office, but other than that, the cottage was equipped with the minimum necessary things, and there were many communal toilets, which was helpful.Even in the middle of summer, the temperature at night can drop below 15 degrees, so a night jacket is a must.We enjoyed camping, kayaking and bonfires.Although there were some violations of etiquette and morals, I am satisfied because it is a free space in a sense and the restrictions are relaxed.I brought a kayak and used it on the lake, but it was shallow and I was able to use it with confidence. The visible range is around the waist of an adult, so there is no need to worry about drowning. Also, the tourist spots in Nikko are nearby, so if you're staying for a few days, you can split your time between sightseeing and camping.Since it was a little far from the parking lot, I rented a cart to bring my luggage. Please note that in the morning, there may be a wait for a cart due to the check-in rush. Also, be aware that if you take a walk at night, you won't be able to see the bridge in front of the administration office. The suspension bridge is lit even at night.Overall, regulations were relaxed and it was a great way to enjoy nature. It seems to be crowded on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, but I'm satisfied because the aisles aren't so crowded with heavy traffic or tents.thank you very much.

The campsite where I stayed in a tent with my son, an elementary school student, the cool morning air, and the cold lake water were very impressive.

I think it's the strongest summer camp in Kanto...Although it's a historic campground, it's well maintained, and the managers are kind and courteous, so there aren't any issues like the ones mentioned above.I think this is a campsite that everyone from soloists to families can enjoy.
