Room booked for 4, but prepared for 2 and had to lay out the floor beds ourselves, which was also tedious because there were tables and chairs in the room. Air conditioning cracked and we had to turn it off to sleep. But since the whole hotel was 28 degrees, we sweated it out quite a bit...I assume that the breakfast would have been good for Japanese people, but the fish had bones and in general the whole thing didn't really taste good. The onsen was nice and there was also a sauna. But just too expensive for that

The best location for sightseeing in Arashiyama ♪ "Kyoto Arashiyama Kadensho"I visited in August 2024.Conveniently located right in front of Hankyu Arashiyama Station.I got the impression that most of the guests were foreigners, probably because it was an inbound hotel. As Japanese people, we are just floating 😅I booked this inn thinking it would be nice to have a private bath,Private baths are hard to get into because there are no tickets or reservations. As a result, I gave up. (Some people were seen trespassing)I think this should be improved,It was also uncomfortable to have to walk barefoot as there were no slippers on the tatami mats inside the building.I learned from reviews that you can get simple slippers.I would like you to keep it in your room.[Gourmet Plan: Upgraded Four Seasons Yuzen Kaiseki + Domestic Beef Grilled on Ceramic Plate]Overall the food was delicious. But!! ️!! ️Even though I upgraded and added steak, the timing of it coming out was the worst, and it came after the finishing rice came out.Let's do belly bread! ! That's what I said😅It's a shame because I wanted to taste the meat properly.Honestly, I don't need boiled tofu. It was just normal tofu. For the price, the main dish is boiled tofu...【breakfast】Breakfast was outstanding ✨Full of volume with a Japanese plate!I was happy to be able to eat a variety of things. However, the miso soup tasted so bland that I couldn't drink it.The quality wasn't around 50,000 yen per person, but I guess that's the price including the location.I went to the bar inside the hotel, but was surprised at how expensive it was, so I went to the convenience store in front of the inn to buy a beer.Choosing an accommodation in Kyoto is difficult💦

5 individual rooms with different Onsen experience is the best feature of all. Food not as good as expected so would suggest just staying here for Onsen.

Accommodation with hot springs, lodging, meals, and cultural experiencesBut communication was difficultDinner was below expectationsBreakfast was soso too.The room was larger than expected, but it had a peculiar smell, perhaps because the accommodation was old. It's a place worth visiting at least once, but I'm not sure I'll visit again.Very good accessibility to Arashiyama Station (right in front of the ryokan)There is a convenience store right in front of the hotel. There didn't seem to be any restaurants nearby.

The room decoration is very old, and the sound insulation effect is very poor! The room is not clean enough, the floor is dirty, and the service is not good! This is the first time I have stayed in such a bad hotel in Japan. The photos on the Internet are beautiful, but it is completely different in person.

This hotel is in a good location, close to Kyoto Togetsukyo Bridge and has a parking lot.The inside of the building is tatami, so I didn't have slippers, so I didn't find it very nice. You can also get simple slippers at the front desk...The tofu for dinner was very delicious. As expected of Kyoto 👍Free ice cream, drinks, ramen, etc. are available after bathing.Breakfast was Japanese food, not buffet style.

The attitude of the staff is very bad. If they do something wrong, they will not apologize, but they will glare at the guests. The food was surprisingly unpalatable and the room was full of trash and bugs.

First of all, the public open-air bath and private bath were great, and it was really nice that they gave me a yukata and pajamas! The service was very good and I ordered both dinner and breakfast kaiseki meals and they were so, so, so delicious. The ramen served as a midnight snack in the evening is very fun and delicious. The tea and vanilla ice cream you can have after getting out of the bathhouse are also delicious haha. You can choose the pillow you want, and best of all, it's right in front of the Hankyu Arashiyama subway!!!! It was so nice to just have it right in front of me. If you take bus number 98 nearby, it takes 10 minutes to get to Saga Arashiyama Station, and the sightseeing was fun. Above all, I booked at a special price during the off-season and paid 340,000 won per night (dinner + breakfast included), so I was very satisfied with the trip. . The room doesn't seem to be soundproofed at all, but everyone was so quiet that my friend and I slept quietly.
