Toba Kokusai Hotel Villa, purveyor to the Imperial Family⚫︎Upgrade your room to a larger space...→The air conditioner in the room was full of dust, and the bathroom had not been cleaned and had water stains, probably because no one was using it.⚫︎ Upgraded to a plan that includes Ise lobster dishes...→I was really looking forward to my visit, but the dishes looked like they had been elaborately prepared using frozen lobsters.Furthermore, just before you eat, you will be given a list of additional dishes recommended by the chef. The food is so poor considering the additional cost we paid when booking this place.Tamachimushi dishesIt was supposed to be a dish with no chawanmushi ingredients to enjoy the aroma of the soup stock, but it was a shame because it was made without my understanding. There is only the smell of truffles and beef in the minced wagyu beef, and there is no truffle scent at all.If breakfast isn't served in a box, I think it would just spoil the appearance if it wasn't packed a little more. The heat-damaged conger eel and onion pot was also dry.Wake up to vinegar kash in the chilly season... Cold and sour carbonated juice service from the morning.

The hotel is not far from the train station but they have shuttle bus as well. We walked from the station. The hotel is nothing but luxuery. The service, room, food and everything showed elegance. We had a relaxing night. Altough it was a rainy day, we walked backyard to the water front. The hotel restaurant is all private room. I didn't see many children in guests.

This was my very first time staying in a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel by self-drive car, a lady wearing kimono came out from the hotel immediately with a luggage cart to help us unload our luggage.  …
