An old house with a story-telling and enthusiastic owner, plus two cats with completely different personalities, is worth a visit. The boss has opened a Thai restaurant next door. The spiciness can be adjusted and the taste is very good. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation of the old house is poor and there is only one bathroom (two toilets). Private accommodation is a good choice for family travel. There are free washing machines, paid dryers and clothes drying areas outdoors. If you have any questions about the itinerary, you can ask the boss in his free time. He likes to communicate with people, so he switched from an automatic engineering engineer to a B&B owner. Because of the epidemic, he established a Thai restaurant to subsidize losses. The B&B was transformed from a leaning beam to its current state by himself, all thanks to the boss's enthusiasm and perseverance. If you don’t want to stay, it’s also a good choice to come and have a look at the boss’s Thai cuisine. In addition, we would like to thank the boss for cooperating with us to pack breakfast in advance and put it in the refrigerator, so that we can take it directly to the car to enjoy when we leave the house at 5 o'clock in the morning.

Perfect little stay at Hide-san's who ensures a warm and very attentive welcome!The accommodation is simple, well equipped and very clean.In the heart of the magnificent Minami-Aso valley, accessible by train (station 10 minutes walk).本当にいい経験になりました~~! おすすめです！

We had a great time at beautiful Minami Aso! Thanks to the kindness of Hide-san and his wife, I felt at ease both physically and mentally. This is a guest house that Hide-san built himself, so you can feel the owner's affection throughout the house. =) It's close to the train station, and there are small shops and restaurants nearby (usually close around 7 o'clock), so it's great to go without a car! (Oh, and they also sell some convenience items within the guesthouse) I recommend it to those traveling to Minami Aso~Thanks to momiji house I spent a really good time in minami aso. The host, Hide-san welcomes guests at his heart. He renovated the house that I could feel the warm affection on his house. The guest room is really cozy and clean. Small facilities are around the guest house (usually close around 7pm) and the train station is near by, therefore this is an ideal place to stay for backpackers. I strongly recommend this place!!

A wonderful hostel in a good area if you want to explore Mount Aso for a few days. Two stations from Takamori, and about an hour to Aso Station.The owners are great, they make you feel at home, and their cats are very cute!! They also have a restaurant next to the hostel where the food is delicious!!I can't wait to plan my next trip to stay here again!

It wasn't an exaggeration, it was great.The nostalgic and warm charm of an old folk house coexists with comfort, cleanliness, and high security. Above all, the hospitality of the owners (including Noan the cat) is truly the best.There are also plenty of common spaces, such as a kitchen where you can easily prepare your own meals and a toilet with a washlet. There are no baths, but there is a day trip hot spring facility a few minutes away by car.The spring water at Myojin Pond Meisui Park, which is just a few minutes walk away, is as beautiful and delicious as the Shirakawa water source.If you can make a reservation, I highly recommend it.

I really like it because it’s neat and cute.There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so you must prepare in advance.(However, it’s okay if you like Thai food. The owner runs a Thai restaurant)

A great stop with wonderful hosts and the added bonus of a delicious Thai Noodle Soup at the adjoined restaurant. The room we had is somewhat quirky, the table set into the floor like a restaurant but this can be lowered and panels added to make a normal floor of desisted. it was comfortable and we’d happily stay again. A quite well equipped little kitchen, books and games, a retro arcade machine and a cat complete the reasons for a return. Don’t miss the restaurant, the wife of the host duo is Thai and makes great Thai food. Overall this was a little gem of a stop. It’s not been open long and fully deserves to be added to the itinerary of those looking for a friendly stop with sone added character.
