This facility is a renovated Kanpo no Yado. The large public bath is a hot spring brought from Kaga Onsen. This is an accommodation with delicious food.

It's on a fairly steep slopeI went on a motorcycle tour with 8 bikes.It's a steep and narrow road. Please be carefulI parked my car in the underground parking lot.There was a thunderstorm during the nightI was saved because my bike didn't get wet.*The meals were average in quantity, but carefully prepared.It's completely different from the noisy Viking.*Breakfast is a buffet, but here is alsoThe number of items was modest, but the content was thorough.The content is satisfying*The hot water has a squeaky feel to it. It feels like it's slowly working from within my body.*There was a smoking area on the second floor.It's hot because there's no air conditioner●On the way back, there was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, so the slope was even steeper.It was wet and scaryBe careful if you are a novice driver.

Even though I made a reservation from the official website, I was given the wrong room type.I wish they had told me from the beginning that tea and water would be self-serve during dinner, which was very unfriendly.The public bath was dirty with floating trash.Kamenoi is the third house, but it is the worst.

First, I wandered around because I didn't know where it was. I never expected to enter the narrow path marked by a graveyard sign! I called the hotel on the way, but no one answered, so I thought what a place to stay! I don't think I'll ever stay there again!

I went there yesterday for my first meal. The abalone, steak, etc. were all delicious. (Thanks to the head chef) The bath was comfortable and the customer service was also good. It was also comfortable to sleep on. I'm glad there was wifi. I want to go again.

It was located on a small mountain and had a quiet and calm atmosphere. As others have written, the building is not new, but the rooms, bathrooms, and dining hall were clean and comfortable.The restaurant was surrounded by trees and had a comfortable open ceiling. For dinner, we had a kaiseki meal featuring local ingredients, and everything was very delicious and satisfying. The dandan noodles we had for dinner had a rich sesame flavor that mixed well with the thin noodles and was delicious. There was also the excitement of eating at a quiet restaurant in the middle of the night.The hot spring has 41℃ hot water and 30℃ hot water, and the recommended way to bathe is to take turns, so I went there and it felt really good. I often see cold baths, but this was my first experience in a lukewarm hot spring. I was able to relax and enjoy the hot springs without feeling too hot.I had a toddler, and the room (Japanese-style room, 10 tatami mats) had a large tataki area at the entrance, the washing area in the hot spring was non-slip, there was a baby cot in the changing room, and there was a baby chair in the dining area, so it was a comfortable stay. There was no trash can for diapers, so I was told that I could throw them in the trash can in my room, so I put them in a bag that didn't smell like diapers and threw them away. It was a fun memory. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is very old and very isolated. There are no restaurants nearby and it is on top of a steep incline. On top of that, ironically, the staff is super unhelpful and didn't even bother to inform us we would need to book the hotel restaurant in advance. We asked on check-in if we could eat there and they pointed us toward some noodle bowls... but they neglected to inform us that these were only available from 9pm.My parents and I headed down to dinner only to be told we couldn't eat there. Impossible. Because this is Japan and let's just say that this hotel is not very flexible. It seems to be stuck in the 60's in regards to amenities, language barriers, etc. It has not been renovated since. The rooms smell, the corridor smells... I would not recommend staying here. It is just so sad. We ended up eating at a delicious yakiniku place nearby. We will need to take a taxi back. If you have a car and are desperate, consider it. Otherwise, leave it in the 60's where it belongs.

This is a recommended hotel! !I gave it 4 stars because it's a little difficult to access, but they also offer free buses from the station, so I don't think you'll have any problems as long as you make a reservation for the bus!

My husband and I stayed for several nights. The Japanese-Western room (with bath) was on the second floor, so the view was not great. As for the food, the Wakasa beef of the Shinyaki course is especially delicious. Also, the white rice was very delicious. Although it is old overall, the service is satisfactory. If I have a chance, I would like to visit again.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Fukui.Originally, Kanpo no Yado was re-allocated to Kamenoi Hotel? So...the location is in the Yamate area, so access is a concern if you take the train.The facilities inside the building seem old, but the space is generally spacious.3F building. The 1st floor is the front desk, souvenir shop, and restaurant. We eat breakfast and dinner here.The second floor is a guest room and conference room. The third floor is a guest room and bath.Our room was a large Japanese-Western style room.Dinner is the Kagayaki Course, a kaiseki meal that includes grilled Wakasa beef. Cooking! It was so delicious♪Everything I ate was delicious♪Especially the Wakasa beef♪ It was very tender and the sauce was light so it was easy to eat.The rice is cooked in a pot at your seat. And sea bream rice. It had just the right amount of salt and was very delicious.It makes you feel full and satisfied.In addition to dinner, there is also a late-night snack of Dandan noodles. Offer until 22:30. It's a good idea to have dinner a little earlier if you also include late-night snacks. Thank you for the meal.When I checked out, I asked for something that would be troublesome for me, but I was glad that they kindly obliged.thank you very much.
